I wanted to buy something. I decided to look up if GOG supports a paysafecard, and in a GOG FAQ I found on google I discovered that, in fact, GOG does support paysafecard. So I naturally bought one. I put what I wanted to buy in the cart then proceed to check out and........No paysafecard option.

So I went on a quest, to, not find out if it was supported or not(at that point I knew that it does, I was sure of it), but what I do wrong or how to do it. What I found instead is that, GOG does not, in fact, support paysafecard. Confused? Understandable. It seems that it doesn't where I'm from, and sadly, that was an issue a VPN couldn't fix.

My biggest gripe is how EASIER it was to find the FAQ that tells me that I can use it, than it was to find info to the contrary

Now, I am left with a single choice and that is to use it somewhere that accepts it. Which is not GOG.

I have the option.

Are you using a VPN? Not all paying options are available in all countries.

I do not. I am in Greece. Guy I talked to in here has the option and I assume he is in Greece too.

I just tried it too, to see what happens, and there isn't a choice for paysafecard. So, apparently it's a restriction for the country we live in.

I recently got a PSC gifted and used it here on GOG.
No problem.
As you can see, I have the PSC option on the check out page.

So maybe use a VPN to transfer the money to your GOG wallet? Not completely sure though, if Paysafecards from other countries work. But I think it's worth a try.

I found out that it is available in germany too. One of the guys in here is from Poland, so it is available there too, Netherlands and france have it too. I don't get it. Why not here?!

Already tried. It doesn't allow me to use the code, and if I try to login it doesn't let me. I am currently trying to make a german paysafe account

Oddly enough, we have it in the states. Redeeming it is fine. It is a hurdle buying it in the states. Go figure.

But yeah, its still an option.

Maybe take a drive out of your country and visit a public wifi spot?

I can't see myself going out of my country anytime soon.
