We're starting out with with:

tinyE: OT, what are those pandas doing? :P

Islanti: When a mommy panda and a daddy panda love each other very much....
YEAH BABY! YEAH!!!!

Islanti: For GalCiv2 you need to explicitly say "I want to post to the metaverse" (which requires an account with us) for this to be a factor.
The first Galactic Civilizations here comes with a serial key which is necessary to access the metaverse. Does Galactic Civilizations II also provide a serial key here to access the metaverse?

Buying advance tickets for Kung Fu Panda 3....

petitmal: Announcements like this one spark a lot of hossannah's and hidihoo's. They are about as useless as the reviews for games. The people who post these cheers, are they getting payed to do so?

And; "award winning; DRM-free" (no kidding?). Blahblah. GOG-announcements have become merely bloated hot air bubbles.

By the way: I own (haha) Offworld Trading Company on Steam. A great idea for a wonderful game, which it isn't - just yet. In its current state it is shallow and very limited.

Too many goggians try to sell *greatness* which isn't there; language can devaluate too.

Sincerity goes a long way...

Gilozard: 1) Stardock has developed many indisputably great games
2) People have different tastes and might think that a game is great when you don't like it
3) Posting solely to rain on someone else's parade is rude

Lighten up, dude.
1) So?
2) O.W.T.C. is still in alpha stage; so we will see where it goes. I didn't say I didn't like it.
3) Posting solely to tell someone else what to do is rude.

It does not provide a key (right now).

Ok, I bought the GalCiv set.
I am now frustrated in my attempts to play GalCiv 3. (buggy, bad graphics, etc.) but most frustrating is my failed attempts to access the console command in game "Input Menu" code says that the ` (key character = ` ) is used to access the console, but I haven't been able to get it to work :(

Please share details to get the console operational so I may use the game codes aka "cheat codes".

Wurzelkraft: It does not provide a key (right now).
The Galactic Civilizations II serial key is no longer required to register an account for the Metaverse (which is why one is not provided). Our team removed that requirement. If we missed something please let us know!

Add just
cheat
to the command line for the game.

I am glad that after GalCiv 1 (when it was originally released for the PC), Stardock finally has some true drm-free releases again.
Good move.
Sorry I won't ever be buying a Stardock product.

Bought Gal Civ II: Ultimate Edition via steam, tried to play it, intrusive DRM/account registration issues.

Really annoying.

No DRM here! It`s GoG, the website without DRM! :-)
