75% off Deus Ex, Tomb Raider, Startopia, Thief, Hitman, Omikron and more…

Like a phoenix rising from its ashes, better and more beautiful than ever before, this weekend our Square Enix catalog is discounted more than ever before. It's 25+ titles at an all-time GOG.com high 75% discount - the Square (pho)Enix

Omikron: The Nomad Soul is usually $9.99 on GOG.com - but now it's way less than that. That's great, because Omikron is one of the biggest, strangest, most interesting classics out there. Omikron is probably the first all-in-one game out there, a curious mix of adventure game, shooter, and surprisingly competent fighter. It's not the perfect game, few are, but there is something about the world and ambience that makes it one of the most immersive and legendary titles. It's also got a cameo and exclusive track by David Bowie, now that's cool.

Every time you mention Deus Ex someone reinstalls it. This legendary title needs no introduction, but perhaps this time it's going to be you? The Thief series is a steal at 75% off, and the light-and-sound based stealth mechanics still hold up to this day, better than many of its contemporaries for that matter. Then, there is Hitman - a completely different take on stealth, but one that's equally captivating. Few games have hit as many of the right notes as Hitman 3: Contracts - and you'll become the ultimate predator in no time.

The Square (pho)Enix rises from the ashes this weekend, with 75% off - the highest GOG.com discount on the catalog so far! The promo will last until Tuesday, October 13, 3:59 AM GMT.
Sure would like some new Square Enix releases...

Tomb Raider: Legend
Tomb Raider: Anniversary
Tomb Raider: Underworld
Now if only there was a FLAC soundtrack with "Omikron: The Nomad Soul". Can't get it on amazon last time I looked either. Though I'd like to hear it one day. I like Bowie

The only ones I'm interested in are Gangsters and Project Eden, but neither apparently works under Win10, so pass.

CarrionCrow: Only one game left from this pack to buy. Might as well do it.
You've piqued my curiosity. Which one is that?

I already own everything in this promo. I'd love some new releases from Square. :)
It's a good promo, but there definitely needs to be some new releases at this point. Perhaps something along the lines of Dungeon Siege or Deus Ex HR? :)

I'm still tempted to pick up the Legacy of Kain series. Can the story be appreciated without playing the first Blood Omen game?

Niggles: Buy Daikatana everyone ;)
I actually am seriously considering it. I heard about how bad it was back in the day but a lot of the games 2-4 star reviews acknowledge the bad parts but then go on to say the game picks up considerably in later episodes. Some of the 1 star reviews simply seem to be there to parrot what was said about this game during its release (ie. they haven't actually played the game) and those that have were talking about their disc version.

But yeah, I am curious to say the least.
Like in the previous weekend promo, I''m sure the games on sale have been even cheaper in the past.

Better Daikatana than cod blops 3!
The Daikatana thing is getting old... come on, GOG, release Deus Ex the Fall so we can move on :P
Daikatana is a good game.

It gets really good and convoluted. :D The story does back fill you in on a lot of the details. It's a shame GoG doesn't have the first one as it's right in the theme of games that belong here.
I'd also *really* like to see some newer Square Enix releases here, especially Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Just as long as the original release+separate Missing Link is available somehow as the Director's Cut is a huge mess, with distracting LOD pop-in, missing effects, various texture issues (missing/not scaled properly/otherwise altered to look worse for no apparent reason), extreme bloom on light sources, stuttering etc that the original release doesn't have. Don't mind if it's included with the DC (even if only as an unsupported extra) or as a separate purchase.
I see a few possibles in this group...I'll check it out this weekend

Probably on a Insomnia, or some other singular promo.
Is the TombRaider AngelOfDarkness really that bad?
btw, thanks for the promo
