Well, while we're waiting for an official question, here, just for fun, is a completely unfair one. If anyone gets it, I will salute their detective skillz, as I am rather sure no one here has ever heard of it. In fact, if you search for it by name on MobyGames, even specifying the DOS platform, it will only be the 8th result.
Again, someone please post a real entry :)

Similar principle to Jezzball, but its a DOS game instead of Windows, and you use the keyboard to control the ball that leaves the trail snake style.
Edit: As for yours, it's Pax Imperia: Eminent Domain. proof
Had to google up this little feature for help :)
Someone else can take my turn.

yep, its Pax Imperia. A fun trivia is that Blizzard was the company that was supposed to develop the game but they feared that it would interfere with another space combat game released the following year (Starcraft).

marcolphus: It's The Legacy by Microprose. One ofthe best cRPG games I have played.

kalirion: Well Lou hasn't confirmed yet, but the screenshots certainly seem like the same game, so feel free to post your own! :)

Sorry - Yesterday was busy and I was not able to get to this. You are correct and thanks for moving on without me.
Well since no one else stepped up, here's a relatively simple one for 90's gamers:

Wacky Wheels! :) The hedgehog gave it out.

Correct!
You know, while you're thinking of something devious, you could just post something less devious.
And for the record, no one has yet guessed my devious one yet. Of course it was just a game downloaded off a local BBS, and its quite possible fewer than 100 people have ever played it....
Oh, all right, all right...
Here, an easy one, neat gfx, but quite irritating. ;)
4:30AM here, off to bed, if someone guesses without the shadow of a doubt, carry on. Unless You want to wait 10 hours or so.. ;)

Looks like Electranoid. proof
Strange that both shots are from "Level 1" but the brick arrangement is so different though...
Well, anyway, I'm going to take a break from all these DOS games for something a little more modern:
