i really appreciate this. You are a champion to us all.
looks like I'm gonna wait, maybe forever. no wonder, i haven't seen too many Microsoft people telling us about their product.

I m glad you agreed you are a simpleton as your replies indicate that you should use that degree as toilet paper, it will be more useful for you.

GOG Galaxy - Bug - Unable to open

Not sure if I'm having a Win10 issue, or if it's just an issue with the latest GOG Galaxy patch, but it is no longer opening, citing the absence of MSVCR110.dll and MSVCP110.dll.
Now that I think about it, GOG Galaxy was able to open/load, PRIOR TO the update earlier today (approx 57MB).
It sounds like the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 is missing --it may not have been copied by the upgrade I think people upgrading to Windows 8.1 had a similar problem.

You can get the Redistributable package from Microsoft, make sure you download the 32-bit or 64-bit depending upon which version you are running.

Cheers!

A scam. Windows 10 is a fucking scam.
No, no, no, you getting all this wrong! I found you arrogant, rude and cheapass! I would love to see subscription plan for every Control Panel applet, Paint, Notepad, Command Prompt and to get rid of flying ms logo on dx12 applications!
So windows 10 is more like the mobile platform than 8 was...

Wow...

Maybe they are taking tips from CapCom?

Mabye thats they did not call it Windows 9.

We are living in a era of Mobile and Tablets. So thanks Steve Jobs, you fuck :P
Or you can install something like VLC Media Player. No-one is forcing you to use the 'official' Windows app.
I just got the option to upgrade. Downloaded it, but will pospone for as much as I can. Seems fishy after reading all this.

Read Ars, SuperUser or something similar for an educated decision, not some random shit on GOG's forums.

Do you also rage because support for floppy drives was removed?

I initially thought you were paid by Microsoft. But now that I read this I understand better: it’s most probably Red Hat who pays you to impersonate a Windows fan, with the mission of destroying all credibility they might have left…

They removed floppy support? That seems silly. I mean, sure 3.5" disks are in decline, but there's still other devices that are very similar, like the Zip drive still in use (to some degree). Sure if none of the BIOSes support floppies it becomes moot, but... they're floppies!

What do Red Hat have to do with anything in this thread?
