Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

Ophelium: I'll take a free game of course, whether it's on my wishlist or not :P

Sadly this sale has been all about things I already have. Except for Shadow Warrior 2013 on the first day, Rogue Trooper and Deadly Premonition. I'm probably just gonna buy all the Prince of Persias, Bloodrayne 1+2, and debating on Beyond Good and Evil. I've already beaten all of these, but I like the soundtracks for PoP Sands of Time and The Two Thrones and I have fond memories (no, not gonna make that joke) of Bloodrayne.

Edit: Oh and Bard's Tale because a high school friend of mine worked on it. Aaaaand VtM: Redemption because I keep hearing good things about it and I keep passing on it.

CarrionCrow: Um....you might want to reconsider VTM:Redemption unless you've got a good level of patience when it comes to games.
Is it grind-y or something worse?

Stoi: Hi,

sorry if this has been already asked, but what will happen if I buy the "Dungeons and Dragon Desire" and send the gift to myself. Will I be able to take some games and send the others I don't want to a friend ? Or is it only 1 gift with all games inside ?

Thank you.
Each purchase made on GOG gives one key code for all the games purchased, whether it is a regular price or sale. If you want individual codes per game when you purchase, you have to buy them one at a time. For bundle priced sales items that would cost more money as the highest discount only comes when you purchase the whole set of games you don't already own.

When a code is used, normally all of the games attached to the code are claimed by the redeemer, however if someone already owns a game or games attached to a code, only the games they don't own already are claimed and the code can be re-used for the other games until they're all used up.
When this promotion is up ? (when i can buy, i only see promotion is expired). When i can try PICK ONE SPECIAL OFFER FROM THESE 3 BOXES EACH DAY ? Who and when can vote ? Its bug for me or players from poland not alowed?
Finally. Something I'm interested in again! Well, okay I still have a good number of games on my wishlist I'm going to buy, but I'm waiting to see whether I'll be presented with some better deals. So, yeah, Re-Volt you are mine! Already got Race the Sun and all the D&D games I'd be interested (read everything but Demon Stone and Dragonshard) but I've yet to play (yay! backlog!).

Stupid gift boxes are still useless as ever. Seeing how I own just about 50% of the catalog, I also have a roughly 50% chance of getting a special deal for a game I already have. So far I've only gotten one game that I didn't have, and I wasn't at all interested in that one. =/

Just really odd and frequently unpleasant in the feel of it, from what I remember. It's like a weird child of VTM and a Diablo clone. And of course, the frenzy mechanic that makes you or your companions go ape**** and out of control isn't much fun either.
Is NWN2 Mysteries of Westgate worth picking up?

Yeah, unlucky with the promos so far. I got a boatload of games from the week before Black Friday through the week after from various retailers including GOG, and filled out some of my wishlist items, but since then the sales just about everywhere have seem to either be for games I already have, games I don't want, or not be good enough pricing. Bit of a slump I guess. :) There's always tomorrow though or the next day...

The Fallout freebies make up for it though, that was a great surprise! :) Maybe they've got some more surprises up their sleeves yet to come too!

As special freebies go, I already have owned them here for some time now. I think the only game GOG has given away in such a fashion that I didn't own before was Empire Earth... two years ago?

Oh...then I'll probably pass on that one then. I've got enough in my backlog without having something that may be iffy in my book. I've played plenty of iffy games lately to last me for quite a while.

Another one I seem to have missed out on by the looks of it. I came to GOG years ago for Tex Murphy freebies but didn't really follow the site much for a few years as I didn't really pay close attention to what it was all about at first. Once I discovered the site's philosophy though I was apeshit over it and have been watching much more closely. Seems I did miss a handful of promos over time, but I've got some good ones too so it's all good. :)

If you haven't played VTM:Bloodlines, I would highly recommend it in place of Redemption. It's easily 100 times better, even with the nuisance of having to download a multi-gig unofficial patch to clear out numerous bugs.

I have played Bloodlines but that was quite a while ago and I never finished it. I, of course, hope that it'll show up here someday.
Tomorrow looks like it'll be a slow day for me, just the slim chance something nice will pop up in the recommended deal or my surprise box.

Which is fine, I'm pretty confident I've already got enough games to last me the rest of my life. But I always like new toys, and I've already grabbed several games this sale.

Redfoxe: I hope to see a package discount on Kyrandia series :).
Great +1 on that. I had to use advanced voodoo magic to make those work even in XP (and even then, I haven't been able to make Malcolm's Revenge run properly), I'd love a Windows 8-friendly version. ^^;
I'm pretty sure we'll have a point'n'click bundle at some point (...'n'click - sorry :P), I just hope it'll win the vote. :)

Tough choice for tomorrow. The Roguelike Bundlelike seems the favourite. I already own FTL, and I'm kinda interested in the rest of the bundle. But I'm not the hardcore girl I used to be, unforgiving difficulty for difficulty's sake doesn't really appeal to me any more. I've heard of Spelunky before, and Rogue Legacy and The Pit seem to be praised quite a lot as well. Should I give them a try? How (in)accessible are they?

Well, the Pit gives you a variety of characters to choose from, each specializing in a particular aspect (survival, crafting, computers, weapons, psychic powers), and you can decide between difficulty levels so you don't have to set out for a full-on masochism experience unless you want to.
