Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

mondo84: Haven't picked a box but don't have a reroll option. Hmm..
For me, the message said reroll because you own all three. So maybe it only shows if you already own all the options.
second half promo disappoints with same selection of games

what do you call the regret of not buying because you were waiting and hoping for different deals? is there a phrase like buyer's remorse for this feeling? non-buying idiot's remorse?

IanM: clear cache, open an incognito/private window, try an alternate browser if necessary, close browser and keep trying until deal you like appears, click on it and log in at the prompt
That worked! Thanks, my friend. :)
Same crap, different day!

Last year all of the deals that ran throughout the entire sale for December were repeated on a single day twice. Once on the end of the world day in case the conspiracy theorists were right about the Mayan calendar and doom to us all, and once at the very end of the sale promo on the last day as an encore. Yesterday GOG did a super blowout similar to the end of the world sale last year, but it seems we have some new content today also. I think it's reasonable to speculate that there will be a last day encore sale again this year for people who missed out or held back until they got to see all of the deals. There's no guarantee of it of course, but it would follow what they've done in the past.
GOG should just allow people to pick the special they like in the gift box, considering that there are plenty of people posting here how to exploit the option and keep on doing it until they get the game they want.

You out there GOG blue...?

Edit: Now that I think about it, I guess this is what the expression "No good deed goes unpunished" means. No matter how much GOG gives and tries to bring good deals and stuff to others while still trying to make a profit, there are those who will exploit this to get even more. Amusing and fit for this holiday spirit.

I'm actually glad we get repeated deals from yesterday, gives my wallet a well deserved break! ;-) Already got the 4x4 bundle yesterday and I bought Theme Hospital on the first day of the sale (back when I didn't know even better deals were following, did the same with GK1 actually lolz. Ah well, both games are definitely worth their 3 Dollars I paid for them).

Hm, not gonna vote for the community deal for tommorow, neither bundle particularly interests me. Hoping there will be some adventure game bundles yet to come in the community deal voting! :-)

And I got Fahrenheit as my daily surprise. I admit, completely guilty, was hoping for a freebie there and clicked it, but it was the reduced price. Ah well, for 1.79, it's still a great deal, so thinking of picking that one up today.
Bleargh! I'm convinced the daily deals that show up on my tablet are just there to punch me in the face when I get on a real computer.
That military pack would be an amazing deal for people interested in those games, but it appears the Space Combat pack will be the winner.

I still wonder if GOG will have a day where they offer the community deals that were voted down? I'm guessing probably not, but you never know with GOG. :p
Next community pack could be Sci-Fi Combat Sims and.. there's no Freespace in it!? Blasphemy!
WTF Shattered Steel and Aquanox..

Normally I would agree with this, but GOG explicitly stated (in the original post of the Festimas announcement ) that the repeats yesterday would be last chance offers not to repeat again.

I do think GOG will do something grand for the final day, but suspect that is when they will offer voted down deals.

Edit: Here's the info...

johnnygoging: I appreciate the change to the personal deals ticker. It's good to be able to see the games beforehand so you know what it is you're going to get. That's smart and it's also more likely to make everybody happy. Good job, GOG.
Well, not for me. I'd rather have one (random) game of the entire catalog than one game of three titles.
GOG does follow the forum.
Nice a re-roll option....from 6 games the only one i don't own
is Fist Puncher....dunno if that is good.
