4iF (four in February) is a yearly self-contest to challenge yourself to pick 4 games from your backlog.

... and then beat them all in a month.

I got Strike Suit Zero, Torchlight 2, Remember Me, and Alice: Madness Returns on my list this year; Anyone else going for it?

Hmmm. Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, Portal 2, Icewind Dale 1 and Sam & Max Season 1 sound like a reasonable challenge to wipe out this month.
Finish four games before the end of February? If you mean February 2025 then I'm in! :D
i'll be deceased of old age before I can accomplish this.
I'm going with Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold, Blake Stone: Planet Strike, Lone Survivor: Director's Cut, and Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare.
Edit: Revised.

OK let's try this:

Battle Isle 3
History Line 1914-1918
Incubation
Incubation: The Wilderness Mission

I hope it's ok that they all come from the same package as they were all originally sold separately.

That would mean I'm finished with my first purchase here when I joined nearly 3 years ago.

^ This!^ If I live that long ;-)
While I have a good mind to complete more than 4 games this month, I'll select 4 games specifically for this thread. If I fail to complete them, I'll change my avatar to an embarrassed cat and my forum title to Defecit Catus (Latin speakers should feel free to correct me) for one month. With that said, challenge accepted!

1. Bard's Tale
2. Hotline Miami
3. Overlord+Raising Hell
4. Rise of the Triad: Dark War

I'll try to do (as long as God and my computer are willing, school too...):

Torchlight.
Serious Sam.
The Last Story (if non GoG/PC games are permissible).
The Wonderful 101 (same as above).

Hopefully won't be too hard, been meaning to beat The Last Story for a while, just got Serious Sam and Torchlight this last big sale, and Wonderful 101 was Christmas. Hopefully by March 1st get through them (they're different enough, I shouldn't get burnt out on any one too badly).

Grargar: Defecit Catus
Victus cattus sounds better to me. Deficere is more like "to fall off", "to desert", "to withdraw" or even "to revolt". Vincere is "to conquer", "to overcome", "to defeat" (and a few others I think). You only have to create participium perfecti passivi obviously nominativus masculinum singularis which is "victus" and you end up with "defeated cat".

Man, I haven't been using Latin in years... (not counting GK3 playthrough today, there wer some Latin phrases there)

EDIT: I'm not sure if I qualify. I'm SURE I'll finish more than 4 games mainly because I have at least 20 games that I'm very close to finish (I play a lot of games simultaneously) so they hardly qualify as "beaten in February". I don't wan to to start anything new because I'm already pushing my limits. Playing ~40 games is a lot for one's memory

The word I'm looking for is Failed or Failure. Google Translate brings up Defecit as Failed. Along with many, many other words like delictum, scaevitas, etc.
I like the idea, and if memory serves, you did this last year as well (I think that was the only month I completed 4 games, actually). I'm not going to pick specific games, but I'll definitely see if I can clear 4 from my massive backlog.

That makes sense. My bad, I thought that you wanted "defeated cat" and then "defecit" wouldn't fit even though it sounds similar. I think there are a lot possibilities to express failure, many Latin verbs are ambiguous and can be understand properly only if you read the whole sentence. For example I'm quite sure that "defuit cattus" may also suggest failure but without the context it would be rather understood as "missing cat".

You know what? I think the best way to avoid this whole confusion is for you to beat those four games ;) Latin can be hard. We even have perfect example right here: you apparently prefer "catus" while I'm more used to "cattus" and both forms are acceptable.
I don't have enough time to do this, but I want to finish at least during this year: Tomb Raider, Witcher 2, Batman AA and Arkham City. Also I am doing a couple of re-plays of older games so it's going to be hard :)

I'll try, but I can never know what might happen, so I must always prepare for this eventuality. And you can blame Google Translate for the single or double t.
