You can't really go wrong with any of these titles, they're all great, I think, even though I haven't played Botanicula and Legend of Grimrock yet. I haven't played much of Darwinia either but it looked interesting and I say that as someone who generally doesn't like Strategy games.

In the end it all comes down to your genre preferences. If you want a point-and-click adventure, get The Whispered World, or Machinarium if you prefer your adventure without spoken dialogues. Or Botanicula, but then you'd have to wait a few days more before you can play it. If you like Dungeon Crawlers get LoG. If you like puzzle platformers get Trine.

Not time left, get Machinarium because it's beautiful. :)

I ended up getting Legend of Grimrock. Shame, because I think in a way it wasn't a fair fight. Fact is, I probably would have ended up getting it at some point anyway so might as well take the dive with the price reduction.

I'll probably get one of the others, and I'll use this thread to help me pick which.... in the mean time...
