Been trying all day, but neither web stores (Marvel, Comixology) nor the Android apps work.

I've been looking at getting into Marvel comics since I got my Nexus 7 and started reading (mostly free) stuff in the Comixology app, so this is a great deal on paper, but unfortunately not in practice.

was posted on another thread yesterday.was able to create account add comics checkout and after ten attempts got message says order sent to server to process.anyone know if I'll have to do the order again?

The service does seem to be stuck. I guess there's a shit load of traffic going on there.

I'm freaking trying like crazy... I almost went through all the checkout, and still nothing... I'm getting really, really mad... Slowly, but steadily...

Looks like they freaking shut this down? I managed to add some things to basket and then it shows me "enter your e-mail, and we will let you know when the promotion is avaible"

There's just too much traffic. I managed to get on and create an account yesterday and actually got about 150 comics before the site completely melted down on me. I suspect with the huge amount of traffic and the issues they're having that they may extend it. I hope so, anyway.

/if they only had some common sense and created this promo on a "create an account - get 700 comics instantly", not having to click gazillion times to get them, it would all be ok...

edit: and yes, they have dropped the promo for now.

Indeed, and oh my, but when I checked my account just now... no comics. Hehe, they're having some monster issues with this promo. It will be interesting to see how this all eventually shakes out.
