Coelocanth: Indeed, and oh my, but when I checked my account just now... no comics. Hehe, they're having some monster issues with this promo. It will be interesting to see how this all eventually shakes out.
They could just get a single link - click here to get all comics from promo, or anything... I hope they will do that this way.

I understand there are some legal problems with just adding them to every user account, but damn...

Such amazing promo, and I'm so frustrated...

Coelocanth: There's just too much traffic. I managed to get on and create an account yesterday and actually got about 150 comics before the site completely melted down on me. I suspect with the huge amount of traffic and the issues they're having that they may extend it. I hope so, anyway.
Did you get the order sent to server message? If so how long before they added the comics to your account?.

It was added to my account right away. Order sent to server message: can't recall now. I had to try so many timed and wait so long before pages would load that I forget exactly how it went down. But I did check after everything was done (creating an account, choosing comics, and checking out) and I had over 150 in my account (although I selected all 700).

I tried it many times. I got to order already sent to server once (170 comics picked), Then tried to send another order for 200 in case first didnt work and it said order already sent. Checked account today.Nothing on it. :/

Yeah, looks like that's all part of the issues they're having. None of the comics I had in my account are there now. Completely empty. I'll wait and see how it shakes out. If I end up with nothing, no big deal. They were free anyway. But I likely won't be using the site if that's the case.

True they were free. Its annoying for anyone going for the promo with how hard it was to actually set everything up and try for it. Like you said, see what happens.

I managed to snatch around 60 comic books, and they showed up on my account immediately and I got confirmation email

Hear hear.

As concerned as I am for all these free issues, though, it did just occur to me how much this must suck for the people who actually pay subscriptions and can't get access to their library. Of course, I would assume that they're just as keen but it still must be a pain in the arse for them. Not that I care; I just want free comics galore. >:(
