Count me in.

It is really hard to pick a single favorite Sci-Fi book as there are so many that are amazing.

Asimov is great. Sagan is great. Clarke is great. Card is great (not as a human being but as an author).

As far as specific books go. Coyote by Allen Steele is great.

A number of the stories in Songs of the Dying Earth: Stories in Honor of Jack Vance were great too. Though some were merely there.

phaolo: I'm tempted.. do you recommend both games?
If you like management/building games, I recommend them. :) If you don't like those types of games then you might not enjoy them as much.

medusa86: I'M IN!!

It's impossible for me to choose one. I love the genre. Books, games, movies, series... even audio dramas.
I love audio dramas!! Don't run into too many people that like them. . .or are even aware that they are still made.

lugum: I'm in, thanks for the giveaway.
Only in for Startopia, already have Space Colony HD so if i win it can be regifted to somebody else.
It's one code for both games.

I understand but i was saying i already have Space Colony, since i already have it then i can't redeem that. If for some reason you are not okay with that, and want someone to get both codes, then i will step out.

I have Startopia, but I'm totally in for Space Coloney HD!!!

Favorite Sci-Fi series, eh? I love Star Wars. The X-wing series, especially the couple of books dealing with Wraith Squadron, and also any Star Wars by Timmothy Zhan.

I also really enjoyed the book Nemises, by Isaac Asimov. It's the story about the colonization of a planet next to a red dwarf. The story is really similar to the game Alpha Centauri actually. I won't tell you anymore in case you want to read it.

I'm in, thanks!

Favorite Sci-Fi for me is offcourse Star Trek.
In for lugum, as I'm missing Space Colony HD ;-)

As for sci-fi books, I'd say Frank Herbert's Dune, but I liked the first book better than the rest of the series.

Thanks for another superb giveaway DireRabbit! +1

Not a super easy question to answer actually. I've read plenty of good sci-fi books, many of which I appreciate for different reasons. But some of my favourites include:
The Nights dawn Trilogy (though I feel that the end was a bit weak)
The Dune series (by Frank Herbert, not the books by his son. The first three that he wrote were not terrible, but the more he wrote, the worse it got. The machine crusade was painful).
The Forever War (It had an interesting depiction of the future)
War of the Worlds

As for movies, I'm actually really fond of the 1953 version of War of the Worlds.
thanks for the opportunity! im in for Startopia

Sci-fi book i think: The Gods Themselves, 1984 and Neuromancer
Movies: Moon (2009), Blade Runner, District 9
Tv show: Firefly ( i recover it in this period, i love it) Black Mirror, Battlestar Galactica

NI.
I'm in. I guess no one can top Mr. kubrick's 2001 a space odyssey.
I'm in. Favorite Sci-Fi? That's a brain melter, so I'll just go with Farscape TV series.
thanks!
I'd like to enter for Startopia. I have Space Colony HD already.

My favorite sci-fi is the Ghost in the Shell series..

Thank you!
Sure, why not? Thank you, DireRabbit.

Favorite SF book? More like favorite series! Let's go with Spider Robinson's "Stardance" trilogy, Elizabeth Moon's "Familias Regnant" universe, and Larry Niven's "Known Space" saga.

Favorite movie? Well, my favorite Star Trek films were II, IV, and Houses of the Holy.*

Favorite TV series? "Smallville" counts, right? ;)

*Old Led Zeppelin reference, in case you didn't get the joke.
