Yes, but the game to be considered classic it has to be at least several years old. It's the pure definition of the world classic, you know.

And yes, every game will become old at some point, but
1) there are hundreds of old-old (pre 2000, or pre 1995) games still missing on GOG.com

Some also make movies in black and white but that dosnt make them classic.s.

The word classic means something that is a perfect example of a particular style, something of lasting worth or with a timeless quality.

Forexample there are made many movies
but not all movies is considered as classics even if they are old.
Some movies is just considered as old and nothing special about them, they are just old and maybe bad depending on the person youre asking.

The word Classic is an overused word imho
and most people dont have a clue when to use it.

And you need at least several years to make that statement. If nobody remembers your "classic" after some time, it's no classic at all.

Diamonds have timeless Quality
You dont need any proof that you will know the diamond ring you bhougth for your wife will last for decades.

It's not a classic, it's just high quality product. Two different things to me.

Even if you just take the diamond and not the ring it will still last decades.
Heck, you coud even take a rock out from the beach and place it on the fireplace.
The rock and the diamond will last several decades.

But ur rigth the diamond or the rock will still not be considered as classic even if 60 years pass
but that just proves my point that age doesnt have anything to do with stuff being classic.

it's age + acknowledgement. If that diamond was carved by Tiffany or whoever, it would be a classic after SOME TIME.

The time is not the only factor, i said it at the begining, but the time is nevessary to tell if that work is STILL apprecieated after many years.

Today my local store was sold out of bacon and it was like a large weight on my heart, I could barely breathe. I thought of suicide but somehow made it through the day. I cried so uncontrollably however that my girlfriend left me because she couldn't take the drama.

I must admit I have far more important issues in my life to worry about than gaming.

They will eventually run out of Good Old Games,
Even in the wishlist is huge, I believe most of the games we wish for won't see the day coz of several problems.
Defunct companies with no owner of the rights to contact, games not so great, that it is a waste of time and money to promote them and reprogram them as a small portion will buy them... And simply right owners who'll never give GOG the rights to sell their games.


What I meant to say is, while for the near future, every week 2 or more games will be released weekly, it is necessary for G.O.G to maintain its productivity to bring in exclusivly new games when they'll run out of old games wich sells.
I'm for the new changes...

Heh. When I first signed up, over 3 years ago! now, one a week was the norm. We considered ourselves VERY lucky to get the odd Tuesday release, as well as the usual Thursday game.

I may not often want what is released, but by the Gods, I do like the choice of games that is growing each and every release. I've got a personal wishlist of games I'd insta-buy the hour they are released (Theme Hospital, this week was one), and I'd wager large amounts of money most people here are the same.
