my suggestions for 2013 must play games of the year are

Volgarr the viking, if you like some hardcore platform with some remembrance of games like Realms of Chaos or ghost n goblin

shadow warrior, really nice and fun fps

TESLAGRAD, really good platform with puzzles

and Metro: Last Light.

I guess I won't surprise anybody when I say that I really enjoyed The Cat Lady (which was released in 2012, but came to GOG in 2013) and Deadly Premonition (which had its PC release in 2013).
Just finished Walking Dead season 1 (the ending episode was released in 2013, wasn't it?) minutes ago. While I'm not a big fan of zombies, the game was interesting enough to convince me to buy the DLC and wait for some nice promo (or even better - GOG release) for Season 2.
Morrowind would be lovely, thank you :)

To be honest I am not sure what game was release what year, my entire year has been Minecraft, Skyrim and short stings on different GOGs. None of those are technically 2013 releases!

Thanks for the cool giveaway! Having the other two, but really wanting Morrowind (played it when it originally came out, and loved it), I'd like to be in for that.

I can't really speak to the games released this year, I spent it mostly playing games from last year or older....FTL, The Walking Dead, Fez, Brutal Legend (although those two were released for windows this year), Sleeping Dogs and Scribblenauts.
