It would be Age of Wonders 2 which I bought November 26th, 2010. I don't know what stopped me but I'm one of those gamers that prefer to play games in order but I suppose trying the game is better than leaving it there just because I haven't completed the first game.

Is it better than the first game? I was pleasantly surprised by the first game, coming from Heroes III I expected it to be a poor copycat but it has its own unique playstyle and world that I liked.

The oldest game in my GOG collection that I have never played at all is Broken Sword 2, which I bought on Apr 9, 2009. Now, I don't actually recall the details, so someone correct me if I remember this wrongly, but I think I bought BS2+3 at that time because there was a promo for them. Unfortunately BS1 was not in the catalog at that time, so I bought the two sequels against the day when the first game would arrive. I have never played any of the games you see, and wanted to start with the first in the series. Finally, on Dec 9, 2010, I bought BS1 (I assume it was added to the catalog around that time). I even played it a bit, but as far as I recall it didn't really captivate me, so I didn't get very far into it. I've just never gotten around to trying again, hence I've also never gotten around to trying the sequels.

Bought The Witcher on April 22nd, 2012 and haven't played it by now. But it's definitely the next RPG that I'm going to play.

The first game I bought from GOG after joining, ie. M.A.X. + M.A.X. 2. I guess I bought them in June 2011, when I joined.

I've meant to try them out, but I have so many other games to play too, even before joining GOG. And it was more like a test purchase anyway, to see how the whole process of purchasing games from GOG goes.

Icewind Dale 2, but I just bought it the 17th day. Though In all honesty I don't know how long it will take I'll actually get around to play it as I really didn't get that much into ID1 and got it because it was so cheap and I wanted to complete my infinity games set.

Nah, not really. Just make sure you don't read anything spoilerly (I would recommend a D&D mechanics guide if you're unfamilar), don't play just because it's a must have and wait instead until your interest is sparked by what you know about it or is prepared to find out and take your time once you start. ;)

There are five games in my GOG library that I have never even downloaded. The oldest is Space Rangers 2: Reboot which I purchased almost two years ago. I have no idea why I even bought it, though curiously now that I look it isn't even for sale anymore on GOG.

The major reason I haven't played a game is because of novelty. I buy a game and then something more interesting comes along, I buy and play that instead, and then forget about the game I bought and never find the time or energy to get back to it. There are about fifty games I own like that. Interestingly, GOG has probably the lowest percentage of games in that regard, If I buy a game on GOG I almost always play it at least a little. Stream is another matter entirely.

The oldest purchase in my library is System Shock 2. I have the retail CD so I've already played it. It is mostly just a digital back up and I figured it would be easier to deal with if I wish to play the game again.

The oldest purchase of a game that I never played would be Neverwinter Nights 2.

I found the first Age of Wonders to be the best. A lot of people disagree with me on this one though. The second one is a bit better balanced, and you won't be able to make those über unstoppable heroes that can break the first game, but on the other hand, I found the second one to have less personality.
