I bought FUEL from GG, the game requires a Steam key. I bought the game 21 days ago. Still no key for me. Or many others who bought the game from GG. It was very cheap but it is so funny I don't know what to say.

The other thing, for weeks (months?) GG has Dishonored for 14.99 euros or something. When the winter sales started it was dropped at 50% off and went down to 7.99 I think. Today I check it and they increased the "pre sale" price to 30 euros while retaining the 50% off, which now is at 15 euros. LOL
From what I glanced it is the same with other titles too.

I have bought many many games from GG over the years but they keep trying to kill off their store it seems.
What a shame.
GG seem to have had trouble ever since the incident. Frankly I suspect they'll never really recover.

There is only one message that teaches a stores' misbehaving. That is to never make use of their service and let your friends know about any shady business practices.
If something is really wrong and hurting customers make a blog about it :)

I don't know which country's laws GG is subject to, but in Denmark, that particular business practice is highly illegal.

What incident? I'm fairly new here, so I'm sorry if that is a stupid question on my part.

Maybe it was that Bethesda pack with over 200 bucks worth of games that was given like a 95% discount? They ran out of keys and decided not to honor the ones who didn't get the keys yet.
I'll never forget the awesome discount they had on Tomb Raider: Zero Whole Percent!
Hmm I dont't have too much bad experience from GamerGate.. Actually not one worth the mention, just sad to see their ObsCure game vanish from the store, I was looking for a deal on it for months and Christmas seemed the right time for that and getting it... :(

Yeah, I was watching that one too. It never went on sale.

Codemasters decided that they won't give out more keys until changes are made to the game, but there is no timeline for that. If you don't want to wait, open a support ticket and ask for a refund. Personally I would recommend that. It would be good if you mention in your ticket if you're okay with a refund in blue coins - those can be processed within a few hours.

That's not okay and if you spot that, please don't hesitate to inform GG support, and they will fix it. These things shouldn't happen, but GG has 6200 items in their catalog and hundreds of regional prices for each item, with discounts sometimes overlapping each other, so it's a rather complex system in which mistakes are possible - especially since hundreds of publishers are involved too. One of the reasons why GOG has relatively few misprices is that they only have about 600 worldwide prices to worry about, and not up to a million data points to manage. ;)

(Sidenote: I'm a moderator and support helper at GG, as well as a customer. I usually separate these roles and only talk from the perspective of a customer when I'm here on GOG, unless I can help with something. My opinions are my own, but it's only fair to let you know of any affiliations that could potentially influence them.)

Yeah, not once below 9.99€.. Ah, well. I still have my PS2 copy, and the ISO of it for the ps2 to Pc emulator with a better quality. I just like some of them console games with an alternate Pc version, for my collection.

Just to make it clear, they are discussing an incident that happened on another games portal, GamerGate (GG) . Those using Gamersgate have witnessed quite a few weird things in the last 12 months. Not only it confirmed that most of its business model nowadays is to sell steam keys, but they keep having pricing "glitches", like that Bethesda pack thing.

During last year winter sales, they offered a pack with 90% discount (in the EU) . The deal was too good and they couldn't deliver all the keys.( see : http://truepcgaming.com/2012/12/30/gamersgate-ceo-responds-to-recent-pricing-errors/). If I remeber well, they offered a compensation ( a rebate during one year). A bit later, they had a similar issue with Borderlands ....

Phc7006: it confirmed that most of its business model nowadays is to sell steam keys,
Are you sure? When I'm looking at the catalog, only about 15% of items are sold as Steam keys (even less if you don't count DLC). GG keeps offering Steam-free versions of many games even though customers are constantly asking them to go "full Steam". If the publishers decide to release a game Steam-only or to discontinue a non Steam.version (as recently happened with Crusader Kings 2), they have no choice but to sell that version (or none at all).

Not quite. The Bethesda and Borderlands issue was the same thing, it was the same bug that struck on two items within a few days. Afterwards, GG gave a year-long 20% discount for all purchases to all customers who had bought those items and didn't get them delivered (and of course all those payments got refunded as well). That particular bug was resolved soon afterwards and there were several months without such double discounts, though it seems that one of the latest updates made them possible again (Dead Island: Riptide and F1 2013 were mispriced in the past few days). They are working on fixing this again, obviously.
