FINISHED !!!

Greetings!

Welcome to my next giveaway. This time the winner will get Dungeon Siege 3 on Steam.

And here are the rules:

1. Post that you are in.
2. Just answer this short question: What is your favorite Action-RPG and why?
3. This giveaway will last until Monday 09-12-2013 8 p.m. (CET).
4. The winner will be chosen by random.org and the key will be sent via PM.

My favorite Action-RPG is still Diablo 2. I had a lot of fun playing the first Diablo with my best friend on a 65k modem even though the modem lost its connection all the time.
But Diablo 2 was way superior. Having 5 different characters (7 with the addon Lord of Destruction) to play with was simply awesome. My Hammerdin simply smashed all the enemies to pieces as if they were nothing. It was so satisfying. I can't remeber how many hours I spent with playing Diablo 2. I think together with Counter-Strike and World of Warcraft it was the game I have spent the most time with.
But I have to admit that I love Diablo 3 too and I can't wait to play Reaper of Souls.

Have fun and good luck!

Regards,
daVigi

Diablo 2 too. It has a lot of interesting enemies and locations and lets player to waste lot of time.
I'm in with another "vote" for Diablo II.

My friend got me into the original and we played it a bunch but that amount of time didn't even hold a candle compared to the number of hours I spent on DII (and I didn't even progress that far in DII, I just kept rolling characters and playing through the same bits again and again).

DIII is fun also though judging by how long it has been since I last played it it clearly didn't win me over the same way DII did. But as I say that I kind of want to go boot it back up again.

It's hard for me to point one, I do like Diablo 1, 2 and 3 and Torchlight 1 and 2.

I don't think I have a favorite between them.
While I played Diablo 2 obsessively like the rest of you, I'm going to say Torchlight 2 is my current favorite. The gameplay mechanics are smart and have been logically modernized, and you get to have a pet! Thanks for the giveaway, and good luck to all.
I played the TL2 demo but found it a bit confusing. I've got TL on my shelf. I figure at some point I'll give that a go and maybe have more luck getting into the mechanics.
Diablo II Lod for me to. Tens of hours of playing trying to get those green items sets.

I'm in and thanks for the giveaway.
Im in!

+1

So damn hard to choose. Loved the Diablo series, but i've also loved the original Dungeon Siege and Titan Quest. From the recent games, definitely Torchlight. Saw Diablo 3 and lost any interest in buying it. Van Helsing looked fun and also Torchlight 2 picked my interest as it look to be so much more than the original.

But, yeah, bottom line, Diablo 2 was the best experience.
in & +1! Thanks!

Diablo III

yes,I like it a lot more than d2,basic reason : d2: alternating between 2 active skills.
D3: lot more! :P (can't remember haven't played it in a while :P)

And also happens to be my fav action/hack n slash rpg
:)
Thanks for the giveaway! +1

I am not in, but I would like to vote for Titan Quest as the best action-RPG.
hi. I would like to throw my hat in for this giveaway

an my favoret RPG? hmm well thinking about it, I think it would have to be maybe be bayonetta. the combat system in it Is realy fluid and encourages you to try new things/break your controller due to button mashing!

EDIT---

I just read mentao's comment bellow and completely forgot about torch light. good choice good sir.

Hi, count me in and +1 for you.

My favorite Action-RPG is Torchlight. Somehow I like it more than Diablo or Diablo 2. I guess it is because Torchlight has a companion that allows you to carry more stuff and possibly that the movement is smoother.
Not in but +1!

Happy Holidays/Hanukkah/WE!
Not in, but +1 for the giveaway Vigi!
Not in, but +1 to you! I'm actually playing Dungeon Siege 3 right now, and I find it very enjoyable!

If you appreciate games with a really deep setting, a well-fleshed out world that feels realistic, you'll like DSIII. The story is simple and enjoyable, but it also touches some pretty deep themes.
They don't shove it in your face, the story never gets preachy but there are subtle hints throughout the game that encourage you to think about the consequences of your character's actions for society in general, echoing real-world problems. Oh, and the dialogue's excellent, too.
It may sound strange that I'm talking so much about story and dialogues in an ARPG, but hey, it is an Obsidian game, those guys are the masters of world-building and storytelling in games. It's a very linear game, though. I don't mind, but not everyone thinks like that.

But it also has the flaws of many Obsidian games: it lacks a bit of polish, especially the camera, and it is actually harder to play with mouse/keyboard than it is with a controller. The combat can be truly enjoyable and fun once you master the controls and you know your character's abilities, but at the beginning of the game I died so often it was cringeworthy.

Whoever wins the giveaway is in for a treat, provided he/she will take the time to get into the game.
