I'll enter for Original War, since it won't be here much longer and it's always looked like a very intriguing game.

First game I bought on GOG was The Witcher. I think they were running a really good sale at the time and I finally plunged in despite having been aware of GOG since it started.

Edit: Oh, and my favorite purchase was...Wing Commander 1+2. Those games are quite nostalgic for me and they hold up very well.

My first purchase was Rayman 2, as it happened to be on sale.

My favorite purchase was probably Hitman: Contracts, because I had never played it before and thought it would never see a digital release due to legal mumbo-jumbo, let alone a GOG release. I am also a huge Himan fan and had played 1 and 2 to death before Contracts was available.

My first purchase was Theme Hospital (I wanted to try out my card on GOG and EA had a promo at that time). Minutes thereafter, I also bought the Dungeon Keeper games. As for my favourite purchase, that was easily Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete, because I could finally play the game frustration-free without all this hunt for patches and shit.
