gkaiser: ...
You seem to be quite fond of the bandwagon approach. Your first "serious" vote was for DieRuhe after a few players had already voted for him and, when he was out of the game, you voted for Flub immediately after SirPrimalform did. Other than that, you stick to "joke" posts or vague observations about the social extensions of the game. So please, do elaborate on your theory.
On a side note, if I'm not too lazy, I might dig up some earlier games. JMich and SPF seem to have the same writing style as they do in "normal" forum threads and I'm not sure what to make of that out of context.

CSPVG: 2) Well, I suspect kkreo, gkaiser and yourself for reasons other than simple inactivity.

I suspect kkreo because, as far as I can tell, he has only made around three posts. His first, post 4, was a random vote for amok. While his second post( post 81), was a joke post, and his latest is little more than a random vote for SPF( as kkreo does not provide any reasons, other than that SPF is acting suspicious according to his senses).

I suspect gkaiser for the same reasons, as he has only posted 9 times. I won't go through all of those, but the majority were merely jokes. More recently( post 148, in fact), I do not like that he voted for you, giving only a vague Just to see what happens as his reason for doing so. This places you 3 votes away from a lynch, which makes me a little uncomfortable( as I still think we have quite a few things to discuss). Therefore, I must say Unvote: DarkoD13.
This is not the droid you're looking for.

I always joke on journeys with strangers. It's a great way to test their humor and to kill time. If my attempts to inject silly into the serious looks scummy to you... it's your prerogative, but I might give you a funny look. And unless funny looks succesfully kill now, you're rather safe from me.

Well there is that clown from Stephen King's book It. He wasn't very funny though....
I have to say, I don't really get the case against Vitek. I mean it's a bit weird and I've noted it, but on its own it doesn't really mean anything...

SirPrimalform: the case against Vitek.
When I played mafia before, I remember almost writing some things with a Mafioso identity... it was something like "well I'm obviously not going to vote for my teammate" when we were discussion claim strategy. And as I was typing it I would shout "WHOOPS" and delete.

I've heard a story about live action mafia were someone has said "Well the mafia *indicating themselves and their teammate* have the advantage"

What Vitek seems to have said is "town didn't pick up on it until Sprim made the joke".

As I say, it's ambiguous as to whether that's actually what he was saying, but while there's a chance that it was that then I think it's worth a lynch to find out.

I kind of assume Vitek is experienced enough to not say something like that by mistake. So I look at it like this: he put it that way deliberately and if he was mafia then he probably wouldn't have put it that way. Of course it could be a quadruple turbo bluff with free bottle of the house red so I dunno.

SirPrimalform: I kind of assume Vitek is experienced enough to not say something like that by mistake.
As far as I know, Vitek is human. No amount of experience will prevent a human from making a mistake.
avatar
kkreo: Hmmmm, sirprimalform is acting suspicious according to my senses, and so is Vitek...
Based on what?

avatar
flubbucket: I agree with you. I'm also curious why there was little to no response to the allegation (sort of like what Joe stated). Vitek is usually quite vocal but appears less so regarding this. Perhaps hoping it will just die out on it's own....?
What happened to "townies shouldn't defend themselves because all accusations against them are wrong and their lynch helps catch scum."

avatar
JoeSapphire: Joe
Even in your rephrasing ("town didn't pick up on it until Sprim made the joke") it makes much more sense that I was talking about all players and obviously outside me as I said it. Why would I talk only about townies?
(that's btw. how I often use it, town for whole group of players and townies or similar for the uninformed minority)

Vitek: (that's btw. how I often use it, town for whole group of players and townies or similar for the uninformed minority)
If we're a minority in this game then we're in trouble.

Because your fellows might have thought it scummy or might not have. But they wouldn't have a go at you if they had. (which, I suppose would imply that if Vitek IS mafia, then those that commented on the Make-Up/Roleblocker thing are probably town. Of course that person is me, so I understand if you don't want to trust me there.)

(that's btw. how I often use it, town for whole group of players and townies or similar for the uninformed minority)
Is that genuine? 'Town' for the whole group and 'townies' for the faction? Can you give us an example?

SirPrimalform: If we're a minority in this game then we're in trouble.
Ugh, damn it. That's Joe's fault. I wanted to just type good guys at first but then I remembered his mafia game, changed it to make it more accurate and screwed it in the process.
That game will haunt me forever. I curse you Joe!

No, you are not the person. That's what I was telling to Robbeasy. Nobody but SirPrimalform cared. Robb talked abbout how I should realise it will turn town upside down but if SPF left it alone, no one would even notice and never saw any sort of soft claim.
You believe it was soft claim, Joe?

JoeSapphire: Is that genuine? 'Town' for the whole group and 'townies' for the faction? Can you give us an example?
Maybe. I guss so. I certainly use townie only for uninforme majority, never for whole town, and town for whole group, but probably not only for that. It's more likely not rule, though.
You should provide examples, you are accusing me. Also, how would you know who I was adressing in my old posts otehr than I tell you?

I don't believe that it was a soft claim. But if it wasn't then that wouldn't stop you from saying "They would never have started going on about it if it wasn't for Liam"

and you're right, I was the first one to question what was meant by SPRIMAL: you're saying you're a mafia roleblocker then?
but seeing as a didn't start having a go at Vitek I suppose that doesn't suggest that I'm not-a-mafia-provided-that-Vitek-is-a-mafia.

Does anybody have the inclination and time to go through Vitek's past games to see if there's a clear use of Town/Townie?

Does anybody have any other business?
So if you don't think it was soft claim and believe it was innocent comment, the why would I feel the need to exclude mafia from the group when I talked about it when I had nothing to hide regarding to this?
I was responding to Rob, he talked how "other people" (other than me) will see my post so I was just talking about the same people. I don't know what is so strange about it.
You are grasping for straws here. Even if I was mafia, this would be flimsy reason for lynch based on something you are just trying too hard to see.

So it's all SapphireJoe's fault.

No wait, it's all Robbeasy's fault! Or is it SirPrimalform's fault?!

No wait, it's the whole town's fault!!

You're sounding a little bit defensive. Just gnaw your foot off and you can get out of the trap you've stepped in.
