Unfortunately this is just a post to avoid a prod. I'm sorry about this, it has been rather busy around here of late.

One thing: Could we agree, for the time being, that discussing Vitek's possible claim/ 'town' related slip has reached a dead-end? I feel as if we're not really getting anything new or useful from it, and as if this has been going on for some time.

That being said, I could just have missed something that you all have picked up on, in the more recent conversation between Vitek and other players.

Robbeasy and flubbucket: Do you have any other suspects, besides Vitek?

It's just the difference between a noun (or 'concrete' noun), and a Proper Noun.
You never use an article (the/a/an) with a proper noun - you don't say 'The Joe' or 'The GOG' - so using an article implies that it's a concrete noun.

In this case it would imply that you're talking about a metaphorical 'town', rather than the group that are known as 'Town'

I meant that I hadn't reacted to gkaiser's claim at the time. I waited until now.

It could be JMich or QuadrAlien. They're both as bad as each other.

This thing between posts 270-273, Vitek, SirPresident and Influenza B was so neat that I suspect it was rehearsed!
(which might mean that they are a mafia with encrypting (so that they can talk during the day))

We COULD give up on the Vitek thing due to lack of interest but it would be stupid. We should give up on it for better reasons, such as Joe-has-decided-in-his-own-head-that-Vitek's-fine.

(But seriously, if we're going to start dismissing things due to Lack Of Interest then people need to start commenting on everything that's going on. So we know what we're genuinely Not Interested in, and what Half-The-Players-Haven't-Read)

I'm, as of now, finding that both SirPrimalForm and flubbucket are raising some of my personal paranoia flags. SPF very much so is trying to be heard as much as possible, and I'm anything but convinced it's just an upstanding citizen trying to get a word in; there's got to be more at work here. In a way it's the polar opposite of what I have tried, and with hindsight being 20/20 as always, I'm wary of him.

Flubbucket, one of my initial suspects, has been making some useful points and contributions; Vitek used to raise my suspicions, but with how things have progressed, it admittedly died down a little. Not writing him off fully, but moving down on my list for now.

I'm torn. Flub still seems to draw ire from others and I'm tempted to listen to them, but as people said, it's time for my own conclusions, and going by my personal threat list?

gotta pull you up - in your own mad world I'm sure this post comes across as completely Town, sensible and awesome, but to me it comes across as someone doing their level best to obfuscate, sew discontent and enerally feck things up for us.
