Booze is the answer .
I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope you find a new job soon.
Depending on the job, Congratulations! or Aww.
Sorry to hear this, hope you'll find a new one very soon. :)
Sorry to hear about your situation, you hang in there, something will come along.

In the meantime, you can try this site, maybe you'll have more luck than me:

Hang in there, mate. Been there more than once, so i kind of know the feeling. Wish you a lot of luck, as you will need that most (well, along with some nice credentials)
Appreciate all the help. I feel heartened. I have sent in applications for freelance opportunities on Monster and various other job portals. Have also been checking out freelancer and elance.

To anyone else who is facing a similar situation; I wish you luck and hope that you make it out soon.

Lmao - worth a shot, I think.
I'm really sorry for the bad news. No advice but I hope you find something soon and that something better comes from this than if you'd stayed in the same job (if that makes any sense).
Sorry that you lost your job. May you soon find that open door to better opportunities
Sorry to hear that - I have been in that situation before, not good. Most recently was after leaving the Army - was without a job for ~2 years and had to settle for something far outside my preference zone (My skills are mainly tech/IT related or food related... I had to take a job as a supermarket clerk to keep a roof over my head)

Keep your head up and don't let setbacks get you down (easier said than done, I know). Don't be afraid to grab a non-optimal part time job or something easily obtainable while looking for something that actually fits you.

I wish you more luck than I have had in the past (and the present - still trying to find a good job that fits in a bad job market :/)
Sorry to hear this - and the best of luck to you!
I've been part of two mass layoffs and both times it led to better jobs so best of luck!
