jjsimp: So, do any of the IE games actually play on the android platform or is it a work in progress kind of thing.
GemRB is a work in progress, but it does work. Icewind Dale 2 and Planescape: Torment might not be finishable yet, but the other games are very functional.
HI to all.

My tablet is an asus tf300t, so it has a dock. The experience of gaming on it is way better. It has keyboard and mouse without lag.

About GemRB, I had it fully working on my tablet with the Baldur's Gate Trilogy. I installed it before buying the dock, so I didn't have my mouse and the experience wasn't fully satisfactory.

You have remember me about it, and I think I will give it another try.

Hammerhand.17: Hi, I'm using dosbox turbo for Android and I have been able to make it work in various games. But I've purchased the gog version of LBA2 and it keeps asking for the cd.

I can use the game in the pc through my own dosbox installation, mounting the .dat file that refers to the .gog and the .ogg files.

But in Android, when I try to mount the .dat file I get the following error:

"could not load image file (...)
MSCDEX: Failure: Invalid file or unable to open."

I've tried to mount the .gog file directly but it keeps telling me that the game needs the cd, and if I edit the .dat file and delete the .ogg part it mounts it, but still ask for the cd when I execute the game.

Could anybody help me?
Yes, I contacted the author of DosBox Turbo, and he explained the reason we were getting the MSCDEX: Failure message when trying to mount the .dat file was because he stripped out OGG/MP3 CD-Audio support in order to save space on the mobile platform.

I asked him if he could put it back in, and a couple of days later, he released version 2.1.5, which now works for me to mount .dat files that use OGG and MP3 as the audio. So the solution is to upgrade to the latest 2.1.5 release.

jjsimp: What???? You can play GOG games on an android tablets? What games are supported? BG1, BG2, any other classic RPGs?
I play many GOG dos games on my Nexus 7 tablet via DosBox Turbo. As far as RPG's, Ultima 7 is a good one. I'm more into FPS, so I've been playing lots of BLOOD and TombRaider lately.

So, how does gemRB work. I installed the app, the demo runs great (I have a BT mouse), but how do you install the full games. Is it as simple as copying my BG1, BG2, or PST directory from WIn 7 over to the directory where gemrb is installed. I noticed there was a config file as well, do they have one pre-made for these games for my TF Prime or is there some arcane settings I would need to configure.
