Rare? I'll give you rare!

There was a cool Men in Black games many years ago. I only played the demo, in which I had to disable a bomb or something, and I thought it was pretty cool.

Interesting, I don't remember hearing anything about that game. It might be really difficult to get a licensed game like that unfortunately - I hope I'm wrong.

IronArcturus: Well in the case of "rare," I would think it would be from both columns. When I first played Shellshock all of those years ago, I looked absolutely everywhere for that tank game. I could never find a full version. Even today, no one I know has ever heard of the game. It doesn't help that there's a similar game called "Shellshock: Nam '67" which is completely different.

This reminds me of another really old '90s game called "Skrap." The game was only released as shareware and never had a full version. It's a shame, but it was a fun post-apocalyptic tank-like game.

djdarko: I remember playing a terrible terrible game called Industrial Killers from a PC gamer demo disc. The game actually claimed to be somekind of Doom superior, but it was terrible, there is practically no informaiton available anywhere on the game with the exception of this youtube video:

Industrial Killers
It looks like the company that made the engine for that Industrial Killers game actually released a similar game called Lethal Tender. There is a Wishlist for it.

Very interesting. Thanks for the info.

Obscure for sure, but then again that was back in the day that I bought gaming mags on a monthly basis and learned of all manner of fun and weird games who's demos were crammed on the accompanying CD each month :P

I've been waiting for that game for a long time! It would be really cool if GOG could get Alice!
I would also like to see Black and White 2

Oh man, the good old days. Where did they go...

It's crazy, I remember buying several magazines each month @ $5+ each. Now I'm hesitant to even buy videogames at that price.

Yes! That was a good series. But you might want to link to this Wishlist version. It has more votes!

Yeah, I remember the really cool demos from PC Gamer magazine. I was completely amazed when I first played the Quake demo on disc!

That was a great game back in 2000, I didn't get quite the same feeling from the recent Madness Returns, though both should be available here as far as I'm concerned.
Here is a long list of rare games :) All very good ones in my opinion. Does any of them sound familiar?

Queen: The Eye
Dust: A Tale of the Wired West
Goosebumps: Escape from Horrorland
Magic and Mayhem
Hopkins FBI
Black Moon Chronicles
The Blackstone Chronicles
Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster
Rails Across America
Secret Mission
Evil Islands: Curse of the Lost Souls
Monster Truck Madness
The Devil Inside
Get Medieval
Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi
UBIK
DogDay
The Daedalus Encounter
Wetlands
Armed & Delirious
Pete Sampras 97
Call me a dreamer, but I wish GoG had The Movies.

IronArcturus: Yeah, by scarcity. With all the games I had listed in my post, I only played a demo of them. But for years and years I've been searching for full versions of them. Wouldn't it be nice if GOG could find them?
Say I ask for a game that may have never even made it to release, is that obscure enough?
War Inc. aka Project Airos
Warlords 3 and expansion
Rages of Mages 1
Rages of Mages 2
I had no idea that was rare. I have a copy around here somewhere.

As far as a rare game, maybe Iron Helix. I would kind of like to play that again.
