A couple of adventure games by the same company that have been lost but not forgotten.
Ripley's Believe It Or Not!: The Riddle Of Master Lu
Orion Burger

A solid Action RPG with a unique setting and some surprising depth.

IronArcturus: Now that's a game I really hope GOG can get! It looked like a really interesting sci-fi flight sim.
I only every played the demo, and I thought that it was brilliant. If I remember correctly you could take on criminals (or perhaps wait for police to take them on) and salvage the wreckage of the resulting battle. You could then sell savaged items/cargo at various companies in the different sectors.

Perhaps one could say : its like a freelance G-police with a business element :P

IronArcturus: Wow! Both of those games look pretty cool! Dark Earth reminds me of Meat Puppet, another rare game.

That's why we need GOG to get these games so they can get them to work on modern systems!
Lol. The tittle makes me think 1st in RAREware games ^^ u know, the old goods for Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64
I'd be interested in seeing a few Polish games that may or may not be rare.

Polanie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNwi6vBA2kE
Target http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2oUUVjlyWE

Anyone else hear of these?

Haha! The name of that game was great! It was a pretty cool tank game too. Here is a video of some gameplay (you might want to turn the speakers down).

Some that aren't so easy to find physical copies of:

Sword of Aragon:

(I SWEAR an English version existed, at least for the demo... but there seems no evidence of it now, I wasn't even able to find the demo version last I looked...)
Aftermath Media's two "interactive psychological movies" they experimented with back in the 90s on the fledgling DVD format (also on compressed CDs) during the hey-day of FMV games. I still own my 4 CD-copy of Tender Loving Care. Not well known today, though they were a lot better than many of their campy, low-budget brethren consigned to the dustbin of computer gaming history. Both are out-of-print, though the second game, P.O.V. is more so and vendors hawk it at inflated used prices on Amazon.

I think Aftermath Media is moribund but I think the original co-founders, Rob Landeros & David Wheeler, still own their own IP made by said company. It couldn't hurt their portfolio, getting their old games on DD.
