Old_Speccer: Hit a nerve did I? I think we have a social justice warrior over here :D
I was hoping they comment on the boob physics in Witcher 3.

amok: you hit such a big nerve, that in over 3 hours you did not get any reply.
Uhhh I was replying to Siannah who finds it unacceptable to revive old threads with new information. I saw the RPS article and I remembered reading about people being annoyed with them here at GOG so I posted the link.

You think I posted the RPS link to make people annoyed? Well that was not my intention. I actually thought it was an interesting addition to the thread.

to a dead thread that had run it's course? What kind of addition would that be? Except rile up the same ugly shit casting again?

(the last question is rhetorical, as it is kind of evident in your reply to Siannah... )

yess yess - the driving force behind evolution of digital games - perfect boob physic :)

They should make old-skool pyramid editions for old farts like me though. The nostalgia.

Nah... too obvious... knowing them they will probably complains that you cannot make Yennefer a male character or that there are no female among the wild hunt :)

RPS is to gaming news what The Onions is to normal news; except that Onions articles are usually less ridiculous and more believable.

The kind of addition that is a link to a new article that makes the otherwise very good website, RPS, look silly again.
And this thread clearly isn't dead as you and I keep replying to each other on it :)
on the R6 Siege: Maybe they should just change the hostage to pet dogs or cats to avoid the whole "gender issue". Then again, PETA and whatever would probably blow their fuse >.<

Or the whole thing that people thought "Link" in the new Zelda game reveal could be female.

That's the key point: you don't deliver new information. You don't even come up with your own opinion, just the link to RPS combined with an insult. All you did, was to try stirring up trouble.

Then you reply with pointing me out as a "social justice warrior"? Yeah, you're not even interested in a discussion (believe me - neither am I), you just wanted to throw some more shit around...

Siannah: Not as pathetic as to necro a half-year old thread.
Why the bloody hell people feel obliged to call out others for necro'ing? Did your world start yesterday and everything before that is irrelevant? Do information and facts expire and disappear every other month in your timeline?

Wanna criticize the necro'er? Do it on the content of their post. Don't throw a blanket "niah niah necro" and think you are coming from a moral high ground.

There's nothing inherently wrong with necro'ing a thread. The only thing I find somewhat annoying is that I get to be reminded about RPS, even though I had my mind made about them a long long time ago. Otherwise I would say that the new post was entirely in line with the whole thread. That is, not particularly interesting.
This is GrumpyOldGamers.com
We're all in an advanced state of decay
and the whole idea of this site is necroing. ;)

This so much.

Well it is better when people learn not to as their posts will either get ignored or the necroing will get discussed. I don't see anything inherently wrong with it, aside from the fact that a lot of information provided within might be outdated (including opinions people no longer hold), but when somebody raises a thread from the dead, chances are contents of his post will be ignored
