IAmSinistar: Simple PHP applicaition with a MySQL backend. I develop applications for a living and have built a collection of frameworks that makes it pretty easy for me to spin up something like this.

jamotide: Cool, is that hard to learn? I would love being able to do that.
If you've done any programming then it's very easy to pick up. Even if you haven't it's not too hard. A basic understanding of HTML and fundamental programming is all that's needed, plus some knowledge of databases. There are tons of tutorials on web page design, PHP, and MySQL, so you should find it pretty easy to become self-taught in it.

IAmSinistar: Whew, now I get a sense of how the GOG team must've felt during the Insomia sale. Invitations are almost done going out. I'm responding to messages at the same time, and also adjusting the invite list as some folks decline out (for various understandable reasons). Again, apologies that I don't have more to hand out, and also for folks who are getting their invites later and have fewer games to choose from.
You should have done 50 copies of Jack Keane 1. :p

Ha ha, that'd be Antichristmas then. ;D

I am seeing from the selections where I should have chosen two of some games and only one of others, rather than the quantities I did choose. Hard to know what everyone is going to like, so I tried to diversify. Hopefully folks who end up with a "maybe I'll like this" choice will discover a game they really like, which they wouldn't have otherwise tried.

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure how I got picked either. Mostly I just make contests about jabbing people with swords, though I guess that's worth a few points.
