Pushing Daisies, perhaps?
Upright Citizens Brigade!
Season 3 needs to finally be released dagnabbit.
Most of the shows I have really loved were pretty popular, weirdly enough. I guess I am part of the mainstream horde!

Only confrontational thing I can think of is saying West Wing seasons 6 and 7 were as good as 1-4. Season 5 did suck though.
Fastlane

Great cop show cut short.

Interesting concept and well implemented. Luckier than Fastlane, still gone before going to where it should.

Shaolin_sKunk: Freaks and Geeks.

An American high school show which focused on the fringe elements instead of the popular kids. It was actually a pretty accurate picture of my experience minus twenty-odd years (It was set in 1980). Plus it's entertaining to see some of the Apatow regulars when they were younger, Shia Lebeouf even makes an appearance when he was like 14. Oh, and the soundtrack was simply awesome, there was a whole episode with nothing but The Who playing in the background in a forty-minute show no less. Only had one season, though. :(
I second this. Love the first season. Nick's 29 piece drum set, Carlos the dwarf, and a young Lizzy Caplan. :) Great stuff. I even liked Seth Rogan, before he was in every single movie. His laugh drives me crazy. Ah well, now I got to check out what Linda Cardellini had been up to.

Oh yeah, my favorite all time show.... Mystery Science Theater 3000. "Stumpy, you can do stupid things."

Obviously. How come people didn't fall under the spell after hearing the daring depiction of the demise of the dear dead dad ?

Edit : Did anyone already mention Carnivale or shall I ?
