'Heroes of the East' aka 'Shaolin vs Ninja' is one of my favourites..

'Kung Fu Hustle' is another funny one I would recommend.

Yeah Heroes of the East is one of the Kung Fu movies we watched the other night. After finding it for 3 dollars at a Big Lots I was not expecting much but picked it up since it had Shaw Brothers on the box. Man I will say I was totally not disappointed what a amazing movie.

timppu: ...but now I am unsure if people are referring to the 1985 Jackie Chan movie, or the 2005 Tony Jaa movie?
I was referring to the Tony Jaa movie, I actually forgot about Jackie Chan's movie of the same name. I did see that on cable years ago, I think it may have been one of his first Hollywood movies. Very good.

City of Violence was probably the first Korean action movie I saw-bought the DVD at a mall kiosk. Turned out to be great. I can't give enough praise to Korean movies nowadays, probably my favorite. Has surpassed Japan and HK for the best asian cinema IMO. Nobody does a revenge movie better than Korea.

The Prodigal Son - similar era to 36th chamber, but more humour based in the way it plays out.
I wanted to say thanks to everyone who has recommended me some kung fu flicks. I don't really think there is much more to cover and the suggestions are probably running dry, so once again thanks to everyone I will be checking a ton of these out probably.
OPS, wrong thread. SORRY
