Lots of in-game footage!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to GOG.com, DRM-free in 2014. We're genuinely excited about the prospect of distributing this title, as we believe that CD Projekt RED is about to make history with this one. A vast and detailed open world, dark and rich atmosphere, dynamic tactical combat, and excellent mature writing the series is well known for--everything about it sounds simply perfect. Understandably, every RPG fan is getting more and more anxious to play the third Witcher game, us included! Alas, just like everyone else, we have to wait. There is, however, a simple way to sneak a peek at how the game looks in action. Namely, we can all watch this VGX special trailer, made mainly out of in-game footage!

Having finally played the Witcher 2 and read A Time of Contempt I'm on such a Witcher high, I think if they put this up tomorrow at an outlandishly high price as a super special edition containing a Geralt glove puppet and a pair of Triss's panties I'd buy it!!!!

memphis007: Will be buying from GOG as soon as it's available!

CD Projekt RED are THE BEST GAME DEVELOPERS, they care about their games and they care about their fan's.
Perfect! Will always support them!

Play the first two games of the Witcher series and see what a RPG game is meant to be!

(max out your gpu option settings and game settings and be amazed at the beauty of the Witcher games!)

Yes I am a fan! :)
I agree 100%. I don't typically pre-order digital PC games, but I'm essentially waiting in line to pre-purchase this title at full price the day it's available to do so on GOG.
I don not preorder games out of principle, but you can count on my purchase 100% guaranteed :D
Witcher 3 is only out in September according to retailers so that should give me enough time to

a. See if I really like the franchise (Got Witcher 2 for the 360 for Christmas)
b. Either buy a new PC or a XBOne to be able to play it (pretty sure my current PC can barely run Witcher 2)

I am very impressed at the effort CDProjekt put into the Witcher 2 360 port. Graphics are excellent by Console standards, the control scheme is pretty good and it comes with a quest guide, full manual and soundtrack.
This game is going to eat your GPU/CPU alive. This is a perfect example of why http://Dimmdrive.com gaming ramdisk is AWESOME for this game. Imagine loading this game up at 10,000 MB/s!

JKHSawyer: Along with his horse.

Khadgar42: And the additional horse armor DLC
That's a joke right? Please say it is...

zeffyr: Dear Witchers, little question - after playing couple of hours (3 maybe) I found The Witcher 1 boring and I couldn't enjoy playing it at all. Is there any chance that The Witcher 2 will be for me?
Yes, I also found The Witcher 1 boring - I didn't even finish the game. But then I started playing The Witcher 2 and seriously, seriously love the game. I think this is one of the best RPGs ever made - it's demanding (when you're not playing on the easy level), serious and mature. Try it!

Will there be an auto-update exe in The Witcher 3 like in The Witcher 2, because, i don't want to constantly login between GOG and The Witcher 3 to download the patch!
This is great! My most wanted game for 2014 is The Witcher 3! I really like the graphics and the look of the game too.

I'm one of the few who loved The Witcher 1 more than The Witcher 2. I think the story is better told in The Witcher 1 and has more interesting locations. However, the graphics and combat is "a bit" better in The Witcher 2.

I will buy the Limited Edition if there will be one, physical copy of course. Then will probably get the digital version for easier install. Love GoG and the DRM-Free business model! Will definitely buy more games here in the future.

I have a feeling they won't. Between dropping that feature, being drm-free, giving dlc for free, allowing GOG.com backups for copies purchased elsewhere and a solid 360 port, CDProjekt have gained tons of support in the gaming community and should not be worried at all about pirated copy figures. It launching on consoles simultaneously gives them additional revenue streams as well.

I think you will receive a digital version along with the physical one since GoG and CDProject are the same company if I'm not mistaken.

Well, I'm really looking forward to it! Hope the game won't suffer from the DLC-sclerosis.

If only they hadn't used that Nvidia Physx and Gameworks crap that can not be optimized for AMD. I bet unlike Witcher 2 this will be a disaster for AMD users thanks to Nvidia and CDPR.
- " This video may be inappropriate for some users. Sign in to confirm your age. "
- Wait, what?! Do I have to create a YouTube account to see the trailer?.Let's see if my Gmail e-mail works...

- " Your date of birthday: "
- Aww! C'mon!! (Types birthday)

- " Update your birthday. "
- Damn! (>_<)

- (YouTube starts playback)
- FINALLY!! (:D)

- (After watching both gameplay trailers)
- It was worth the hassle... (:P). It looks amazing, incredible gorgeous! ^_^

I do hope that it won't be the case. But I understand the game will be optimized for NV Titan, I only ask from CDPR please make it work on 7970->290x cards if only it had support on mantle :(

Honestly I played witcher 2 with a 'god' mod, that let me heal extra fast. I liked that more, mostly because, for me the Witcher was about the story.
