Lots of in-game footage!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to GOG.com, DRM-free in 2014. We're genuinely excited about the prospect of distributing this title, as we believe that CD Projekt RED is about to make history with this one. A vast and detailed open world, dark and rich atmosphere, dynamic tactical combat, and excellent mature writing the series is well known for--everything about it sounds simply perfect. Understandably, every RPG fan is getting more and more anxious to play the third Witcher game, us included! Alas, just like everyone else, we have to wait. There is, however, a simple way to sneak a peek at how the game looks in action. Namely, we can all watch this VGX special trailer, made mainly out of in-game footage!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt VGX Trailer

Remember: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available DRM-free on GOG.com in 2014. We'll be keeping you updated on all developments in this matter.

Hopefully GOG is able to offer a better discount and stuff Steam wont be able to get.
Insta buy!
Can't wait for this:)
high rated
Looking forward to not being able to run this :)
Looking forward to it. I understand it's going to be 64 bit too, nice.

Show Bethesda how to do a vast open world RGP with a good engine, CDP. ;)
Sad to know this will be the end of Geralts adventure. But i do have to wonder who will be the star in the next Witcher game Ciri maybe?

I love the series but I don't want them to do what EA and Ubisoft does and milk the franchise. In all honesty I hope that they start making cyberpunk into a series where they have a completely new world to explore.

though this is going to be the reason why I get a ps4

I realize the game itself won't be available until 2014, but can we expect to be able to pre-order it in the very-near future? This is certainly something I would have no problem buying ahead of time...

Ugh... ignore this post... should have watched the trailer BEFORE I asked this question :p

Just hope they don't include ubersampling as a display option. Multiple upgrades later and I *still* can't get it to run smoothly. ;_;

Yeah i agree yearly franchises get stale quick.
Will definitely be getting this... playing it is another matter. I will likely wait until I have a machine that can actually run this with at least medium settings before I attempt to finish even the first game and play (and finish) the second one, and of course same for this one.

As for which version to get, will have to see what the offerings are and associated prices. I got the version of Witcher 2 that had the bust of Geralt, but ended up re-buying it here so that I did not have to open up the package.
I hated how Witcher 2 brought in that terrible over-the-shoulder third-person camera, Witcher 1 was so much better with the Neverwinter Nights style "point and click" movement and combat, with the option of an isometric camera. Fucking consoles ruining everything.

CDP should think about making a traditional CRPG.
After completed the first two, it's only natural to get this one. I prefer Witcher 2 combat, but still prefer the quests and exploration from the first game. There were tons of ugly monster as well, which i liked.
Really can't wait for this to hit GOG. Definite buy for me.
I really need to make time and play the first two games :( Still gonna buy this though just cause it looks awesome :)
