Favourite level, that's hard to say. I've played so many games and I usually think of them as a whole. Of the recent ones I've played, there's a level in Silent Storm Sentinels where you're in some kind of ruins in a desert and get ambushed from 3 directions. I hate ambushes in games but it was fun for some reason :)

Not a level as such, but I will also have a soft spot for the scene in MI2 where Guybrush has to dress up as a girl, found it utterly the funniest thing when I was a kid.
+1

My favorite level in a game? Probably the chess level at Goblins 3, very fun with brilliant puzzles design.

Can't think of my favorite level of all times, but I can tell my favorite level in Hitman: Contratcs. Although this title is probably the worse in the series it has one extraordinary level, Beldingford Manor. There are at least three interesting ways to finish this mission and I have chosen to bring the gasoline can from the basement up to the mansion's third floor and throw it into the chimney, creating an explosion that killed my target, plus anyone else in the room with him.

Thanks for the giveaway.

My favorite level out of any game so far has to be the lego world in mario land 2. It's so cool and unique...

Thanks for the GA and +1! Everyone should have a working copy of this game and thanks for the chance to get it!

As far as my favorite level of a game, that would be almost impossible to say, there are so many great games out there that I have played over the years. So, I will say one of my favorite levels would be a custom map made for HOMM III many years ago. Unfortunately, I lost the copy of this level I had due to a hard drive failure and cannot find it anymore. Here's what I loved about it though. It was a 2-level map, max size. The peep who designed it made it so you could never get at your enemies directly, they always had a way of getting at you though. This was true till the very end of the map when you finally get to fight their primary heroes, and it was a cage match! 8 players, 7 comp vs. YOU! The whole map kept you on your toes and remained challenging till the very end and then you have to teleport into a nest with 7 of the toughest heroes fully leveled up and decked out with creatures, with no way to escape! What a map!

Probably Life of the Party (Thief 2). It was vast and challenging and I really liked jumping from one roof to another. Not to mention it was the 1st level I played since the demo was based on it and it's always gonna be close to my heart.

Thank you!

Thanks for your generosity, innerring! In for dragonsreach, if I may.

As for your question, I specially enjoyed the "Ocean House Hotel" level on Vampire: Bloodlines. Those forum members who have played it, they'll understand why. ;)

One of my favorite levels in games, is the first campaign map from Corsairs. If you follow the quest markers you can finish the mission in about 30 minutes and you would be off to the next mission. However, if you ignore the mission and play the map as a sandbox map you can easily get out of it 24 hours of gameplay. That's because the map has close to a hundred ports that you can conquer and upgrade, and hundreds of ships that you can plunder or sink. At first you don't have enough gold and you have only a small boat, so you naturally start trading goods and run away from pirates and corsairs. You buy bigger and faster boats and even build fleets. Almost every year I install Corsairs play that map as a sandbox game and I have a great time.

Unfortunately I could never bring myself to play the rest of the campaign, because the next two maps are timed missions, the concept of which I hate in games.

Just stopping to give you a +1 since its closed. :(

My favorite level is the Chapel of the Builder in Thief: Deadly Shadows. It was, in my opinion, the one that took the most stealth and trying. The rest I could snipe, and blackjack my way through.
