Waxworks, Downfall, Secret Agent, Chaos Overlords, and many other classics up to 70% off!

Hear ye, hear ye! In case you missed it, spring has arrived and with it comes our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/spring_weekend_promo_160514]May Myriad of Games!! This weekend we are offering a cornucopia of classic titles, ranging from horror in a living wax museum, a cyberpunk dystopia with turn-based gang warfare to a post-apocalyptic point-and-click adventure where Man is a mostly a myth. The temperatures are high (unless you are in rainy Europe) but the prices are low! Let's take a look at the classics we've got lined up for you!

and [url=http://www.gog.com/game/the_cat_lady]The Cat Lady. Usually, when we write about these kind of promos, we mention one game at a time in these blurbs but these two games should be played together, starting with and then [url=http://www.gog.com/game/the_cat_lady]The Cat Lady. In Downfall, you, as Joe Davis, will explore a hotel that isn't quite what it seems and you'll encounter many twists and tuns that may warp your psyche just a tad. In The Cat Lady, set in the same universe as Downfall, you'll take on the role of Susan Ashworth as you come to grips with the reality of depression and battle against five Parasites, ruthless psychopaths that wear human forms. If you're a fan of Remigiusz Michalski's psychological horror, you can't pass these stylish adventures by!

Before he was known as the greatest ladies man to grace the Earth, Duke Nukem had his humble beginnings in Duke Nukem 1 +2. With classic side-scrolling platforming action, you'll go through Duke's first forays into video gaming fame. Battle against the fantastically evil Dr. Proton, get kidnapped and fight back against zombifying aliens, and see why Duke wrote a book called "Why I'm So Great".

It wouldn't be spring without a bit of chaos! If you're looking for a classic cyberpunk turn-based strategy game, you can't go wrong with Chaos Overlords. You'll wage war against rival overlords sending out your gangs against theirs in a tense war of influence over a vulnerable city.

Each game's a classic in our May Myriad of Games! Grab a wide variety of games for up to 70% off until Tuesday, May 20th 3:59 AM GMT. Spring is in the air!
Bought the Catacombs Pack. Had one of the 3D games as shareware back in the nineties, was nice. It`s not your everyday shooter. There are no different weapons, only a fireball spell, but with unlimited ammunition. There are also healing potions which you can carry and use whenever you need them. Nice little games and now I can see the sequels and play them. Can remember that I played the won I had in the nineties, but didn`t find the rest of the games. I had it from a shareware cd. I didn`t have Internet in the nineties.

Seeing the discussion here makes me wonder whether I'm the only "sucker" who bought Time Gentlemen, Please! + Ben There, Dan That! (such a long title! Whatever...). I couldn't resist however the $0.99 price tag and the promise/premise of "NAZI DINOSAURS!" (quoted verbatim from the game page), plus the reviews on the game page thought in was a nice/fun little game- but still I don't see it amongst the best-selling list. Oh well, even if I won't like it, it's not like I spent much... :-)

You're certainly not alone. A point & click game for $1 seems like a win regardless of whether or not it delivers on its promises. Still, the screenshots clearly show Nazi Dinosaurs, so I think it'll do just fine. :P

I have lost count of how many times I've bought these games (yes, it's two games!) ever since they came out. I'm pretty sure that both of you are going to have lots of fun and laughs playing them! ;-)
I bought it too, not expecting too much judging from the screenshots but the reviews are almost all extremely positive. It seems it relies much on humor, and that's quite a personal thing.
Thanks to the later than average end of the promo I managed to bag Chaos Overlords just now - cheers GOG - was hoping it tould be on the insomnia promo - it wasnt.
By the time this offer came up I was "picking doffs" in terms of cash left, and then my net cut out to boot (mobile broadband). It's only just now my fortune has overturned to make it happen.

Maybe have all your future weekend promos run until the stroke of midnight GMT?!
(edit: not just ofr me of course - I imagine there are people otherwise who would pick up the later bargain!).

zeffyr: I'd like to point out that the game still hasn't been removed from my account ;-)

triock: You need to send a support ticket.

edit: ninja'd :D
Unusual - the game is still sticked to my account and I don't have any reply from staff, ticket was sent almost a week ago... Shoo, Downfall, shoo! :)

Why do you want to get rid of a good game?

Because I got it for free due to a technical glitch on GOG's side. I want to be fair :)

Ummmm well, gift a copy to someone? Or throw it into the pot in the missed sleep giveaway? :)

Or just keep it and let that be a lesson to us :)

You could always pay for it retroactively, just get in touch with support (either bump your original ticket or submit a new one). ;-)

I intended to, but the ticket remains unanswered... I'll create a little giveaway after weekend then :)
