Subjective. Objective. Indeterminable.

Edit: Weren't you the guy from a month ago that said you were going to kill yourself over losing your brother?

I think it's the one most likely to ignite a flame war thus validating the OP's reason for asking this question.

Secret of Mana.
You can buy overalls in Potos village.

I'd expect The Real Texas to include overalls, but don't think you can have combined tops and bottoms.

edit:
Sadly, the Secret of Mana overalls don't look like overalls. So I'd keep searching.

Overall hmmmm combat vs story/dialogue. Hard to find one which has a good balance of both
PST seems to have the best dialogue/story
Which one has the best role play and combat so to say?

The Human imagination.

Nothing roleplays better than your own mind, there's no graphics to hinder the visuals, no voice actors to hinder the dialogue, no stat sheets to hinder what you can and can't do. You can be flying a rocket ship to Mars one moment and robbing a train in the wild west the next.
I prefer those that don't have trolls in them.
overall best rpg would be real life, you actually have to play a role you like it or not. And you can customize your character unlike another >>>> best character customization too

Dark Cloud 2 had many different coloured overalls, now that was a pretty good overalls RPG. I'm partial to the green overalls.
Depends...Japanese or Western RPG?

Japanese: Either Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy VI

Western: Baldur's Gate II

Or any of 100 other opinions you'll get, most of which will have merit. Those are my favorites at any rate, which is probably a more answerable question.

Excellent. I retract my earlier suggestion. Dark Cloud 2 gets my vote.
Kriegsspiel. Without it and other founding stones, we wouldn't have games as we know it.
I would say that's Baldur's Gate 2, modded. Replaying it now is almost depressing because it makes you realize how much worse Bioware has gotten.
