I prefer they wait until they fix all the bugs they can before releasing. (quality over quantity, which [as bloody pointed out in another thread] is something that sets GOG apart)

I think that's the most likely scenario. Apparently the shit really has hit the fan here in Germany with the retail release and people have been demanding refunds left, right and centre.

This is why you shouldn't pre-order, people.

Bloodygoodgames: Weirdly, growing up and learning French, my favorite word was 'prestidigitateur' (magician in English). Thought it was so cool :) And never forgot it.
My personal favorite would be 'parallelépipède'. Amtough growing up I'd pronounce it paralelléBipède, as in parallel biped.

To me it is unlikely that it is Blade of Destiny HD. It seems they were planning to release a game at the usual time (or one hour later). If that game is the mess I heard, a few hours wouldn't be enough to fix it.

I think the 'technical problems' are from having to try and find a replacement that was due to be replaced later and switch the releases out, sort out website artwork etc.
