Fever_Discordia: Ah OK, reading the blurb for Chantelise, the part where it said:
"and in their travels they come across a particular town, which is home to a number of nearby ruins, as well as a peculiar shopkeeper named Aira"
I'd assumed that the shopkeeper, Aira, was the main char from Rescettear but, apparently she's actually called Rescett (kinda makes sense I suppose) - they must just have a thing for shopkeepers!
Maybe Recettear and Chantelise have some link (universe or something)
But Fortune Summoners is even from a different developer, and some say that it ends on a cliffhanger...

that said, I really hope Fortune Summoners to be featured on a daily deal by the end of the sales again, is the one I'm missing.

66% of on Divinity Anthology seems a pretty good deal.

JMich: No limit to times you can craft the badge, badge and card disappear after sale is over.
It's just the cards that disappear, right? Not the badge that you've crafted?

Only the cards disappears, not the badge (is like the one of the last summer promo)

jamyskis: Nothing has appealed to me so far. Everything within my acceptable price range is likely to be in an indie bundle the coming year anyway.

The only non-bundle candidate things that interest me are the Dishonored and Bioshock Infinite DLC, all of which is too expensive even at the sale price, Batman: Arkham Origins, which is cheaper at retail even with the sale price, and The Walking Dead Season 2, which will likely be appearing at retail DRM-free for more or less the same price.

I will say at this point that Steam sales do have to do a fuck-sight more to impress me than GOG sales do - I'm more likely to buckle on GOG with an offer than I am with Steam, but even in a direct value comparison, Steam is faring pretty badly at the moment.
If you still want Batman, then this site is offering much cheaper deals. And I have very good experience with it, you'll receive your key within 30 sec via mail.

ALSO for other people who want cheaper Steam deals, you can look at the site. (and no I do not own it nor am I making ads for it :p)

Oooh, time to buy Batman Arham city for a fiver. Just in time as well, since GFWL and the other DRM have been stripped out. I'm perfectly fine living with Steam DRM at this price.

Also FC3 for a fiver is a definite steal.
For people whore are interested

Sleeping dogs (complete package), KoTR2 and CS: Go are on sale again :)

Until now purchased Dead Island: Riptide with the DLCs and Age of Empires II HD with the expansion
Damn. Didn't notice, the cards were given away for voting. Must've missed out on $0.50 :) Big money here in RU.
Any idea what the PC port of Dead Rising 2 is like?

I don't know why it piques my interest at the moment, probably because I'd rather wait and see if the few indies I want on Steam will ever be released DRM-free.

I mean, I know Ironclad Tactics will be (because I've heard it confirmed), but it's agonising!

That's an exaggeration, but you know.

I wish they had released Dead Rising 1 & 3 on PC, too. Strange they only released 2. The completest in me can't stand having part of a series (don't have an Xbox 360).

It's been a while, but I don't remember a cliffhanger. It ends in a way that allows further installments in a potential series, but IIRC it's still a proper ending with some closure to the story.

It's also the game I like most of these three; actually, it's the only one I've completed, but I've tried the demos of all three and while I didn't quite get into the other two, the Fortune Summoner's demo made me buy the full game in the first release week and then play through it within a short time. Personally I think it's a great game. :)

(The demo is also quite long and IIRC it allows you to transfer your savegame if you buy the full game, so if you haven't done so and you're not sure whether you would enjoy it enough to warrant the asking price, I recommend checking out the demo!)

It's a good port, if you can out up with GFWL.. I think it's one of the latter GFWL titles that has the 14 time activation limit. Plus you HAVE to be online for first time activation. Best to check with other sources.

Technically it's quite a bit better looking then the console versions, and works fine with a 360 controller. The mod scene for it was decent too.

What about now that GFWL is basically dead?

Good to know that, thank you. Too bad there's no other installments (or will be, I think), as seems the game doesn't generated enough revenue to warrant a sequel...

I already played the demo, before Steam I think, and I remember it being pretty good.
But I also like Recettear quite a lot. ;p
And I did the savegame thing with it, but then decided to play from start again, because I screwed myself in the demo...
