Hi all,

I NEED to know, does anyone else find the IMPOSSIBLE speed of qte well, IMPOSSIBLE!? I'm on easy, and "easy" qte's....IT IS NOT HUMANLY POSSIBLE TO BEAT trhese. I am at the tavern fighting roche and it cannot be done, every letter it says to push is immediately countered and the "OPTIONS" they leave you with move faster than the speed of light. This game is fucking BOLLOCKS due to this, important plot points left to a pathetic fucking minigame I find absolutely IMPOSSIBLE. I cannot be the only on here, these scenes are 100% unpredictable and require FULL LUCK, no skill at all, HOW!? is there no post about this yet?

i believe there is an option in the menu somewhere to turn off QTEs...

Yeh im not to happy with the QTE myself.

Haven't done that yet apparantly but if you play on medium it has the setting: Difficult QTE checked. You can uncheck it and it should become a lot easier.

Where is this setting mate ive looked everywhere for it ??.Scrap that lol im blind found it under options cheers for that.

I unchecked "hard" QTE, GFL with Roche guys, fight is 100% different everytime and took me 2 hours, literally.
the QTE implementation is pure CRAP, no skill, all chance, makes for an angry ( me) player.

Wow, I'm playing on Hard and I find the QTE quite easy. They are definately not impossible.
Just play abit more, you will get the hang of it.

Yes. QTE look difficult at first, but actually just need to be careful, watch screen, and react quickly.

Very easy after a while, really.

Good game to all ^.^

I would also make sure that the game is running at a playable framerate. I had problems with SSOA on causing the framerate to occasionally dip below 15, it was also causing problems with some of the QTEs as, due to the extra lag, I wasn't pressing the buttons in time. Once I sorted out the fps issue the QTEs became trivial.

Hm... I'm playing on medium and I have no problem doing QTE at all, hard QTE is checked. I won all the fistfights in chapter 1 without being hit more than 2-3 times. You just have to practice a bit and get used to it, I like the system... it's a huge improvement over the mindless Witcher 1 clickfest.

It wasn't hard at all, stop cursing the game when all you need to do is improve your timing and concentrate more. Anticipate which button you need to press in advance, if you take your time even for a while to look at the correct button in your keyboard / gamepad during QTE, you might miss it.

I cant understand what they thought of when they implemented QTE in the game.
No one likes QTE these days. The only thing you achieve with QTE is forcing you consumers out of the experience (looking for button prompts instead of enjoying the scene).

I was very disappointed when i discovered that there is QTE in my RPG.

Um.. I haven't failed any QTE's and beat all the bar fights. I'd still prefer a non-QTE based system though.

I'm enjoying the QTE's, they add a bit more cinematic flare to certain fights.
