Any tips? It's causing me some hassle. I seem to die every time. I have tried trapping it but he only stays trapped for a few seconds. That poison is a nuisance too. It's only on normal but man does he hit hard.
Traps, LOTS of rolling, brown oil, and LOTS of luck. I had a hell of a time with these dudes.
Well I'm under the impression that his weak spot is behind? It's a shame that he doesn't stay trapped for long.
Just use the Aard spell on the queen and right after that hit it 3 times with strong attack then roll back again to replenish vigor for another Aard spell and contenue this way until it's dead :)
It's pretty easy actually... All fights are easy and can be done without getting hit once you learn your enemy's moves and learn how to avoid them :)
yeah, it takes luck, sadly. the best thing is if u can see her getting ready for a charged attack then u roll to the side and she passes u and get stuck in what's behind u. thank u can turn and hit her from behind with heavy attacks. attacks from the back do more damage.
also if there is a zone that if u leave it than she will not attack u but go back to where she spawned than u can leave that zone when u r hurt and wait forever until u regenerate your health.

and use potions before the fight. if u have the enhanced armor against endrega poison - use it.
You've got to use everything you have. Bombs, traps, knives, Insect or Brown oil, potions. Quen quen quen. Before refreshing quen, try to dodge around a bit and let you Vigor grow a few ticks. That way when Quen is on, you have some chances to cast signs. If possible, get as many "Heavy" hits to back side.
Naah forget Quen... Just cast Aard on it when you're near her . Hit 3 strong attacks and roll back and away to replenish vigour and repeat the first step :D
insect oil, and dodging is how I was able to beat both of them pretty easily. Of course potion up before you start. There is no luck involved here, just be prepared and watch for when they charge and doge out of the way. They rear up giving you an indication they are about to charge.

I did not really have any problems with the 3 Queens except for the first battle as I was not expected her to pop after I destroyed the first set of eggs. You're best bet is to have Igni as your spell and make sure you have cleared the area of any other mobs (Nekkers or another endregea) before destroying the last eggs in the set. Just pound away and try to back her up in a tree stump, igni her as much as you can and keep swinging. I had her down in less then 20 seconds.

Again, if still too tough, you could always level up a bit and add points (when they become available) to increase sign power.

Good Luck!

Yeah, there's a weak spot behind it, but it's pretty hard to hit. Managed to beat 'em with traps/Yrden sign:

(Optional: leave a stunning trap somewhere near it's spawn location before destroying the final cocoon)
1) Run away
2) Cast Yrden
3) When the Queen is trapped ROLL behind it
4) Use strong attack to beat it.

It seems to regenerate quite fast and you'll probably have to do this a couple of time, so you'll have to be fast in casting a new trap. Swallow seems to be quite useless because of that. I also used Brown Oil but I'm not sure how much help it was in the end.
traps!
As you know where will appear, prepare the camp before killing the last nest. Plant every kind of traps. I plainted about 3 diferent ones, one after the other, plus all the hunters traps I had. After kill the last nest and the Endrega Queen appear, run as crazy to the other side of the traps camp, and wait her there.
And LUCK
hope it helps...

Have a nice day

Just what Arzi said, very simple fight if you follow those steps :P
don't bother wasting traps and tons of potions for this fight, it's way too easy once you use Yrden and hit it in the ass

Learn to roll better. When I roll I roll either to the left or right and as Geralt gets up, flank behind. Works well. Also patience.

All the boss/mini boss have a charge attack. The Queen is no exception. As you see her charge, roll out of the way, roll forward towards her and do a couple of strong slashes.

No traps, oils or anything necessary even on hard. Just time when you roll and when to attack. Even being patient, the fight only takes about 5 minutes.

You be Rollin and Trollin

LOL just kidding, I had to make a joke :D
I had picked up all snare traps in the forest (free, yay!) and put them to use. I laid them all out... it takes time, yes, but it's so worth it, because it's so much fun to watch the poor thing try to break free. You can safely use signs or swords to your liking, as long as she hits more traps. Afterwards, you pick up the traps again and nothing is wasted.

They should really patch the no xp for traps annoyance, because it's silly. You do a lot of work, you think ahead and if you win a battle without getting a scratch, good for you.
