That whole interaction at the beginning was a bit weird for me.

I see the point about the scenes being awkwardly done, but we have to remember the industry as a whole barely does this. CDPR has done better than any game I can think of. In Bioware games you get clothed leg humping and in God of War you get screams and broken pottery, don't forget red orbs! I mean, this is by far the best implementation of sex in a video game that I have seen, and although it is a bit awkward, we can't expect a leap to complete realism in a day. Devs need to get used to doing it. I'm sure in TW3 they will be less awkward than they are now.

Still, poorly animated or awkward are not synonymous with tasteless. I still think they fit into the story and the lore quite well, which is tasteful enough for me.

All the nipples in the game should be replaced with Zoltan's face, smiling. Adding comedy to the sex scenes would definitely take care of that whole "embarrassment" thing some seem to be having a problem with.

Oh, wait, half the sex scenes are in the game to provide comedic breaks and are truly hilarious.

I think it's pretty cool/groundbreaking that games can now start to add some serious sexual situations in games. It's even cooler that CDProjectRed is the one starting the trend. They seem to know when to make it seem serious and when to make it an obvious gag. They started it with the first witcher and expanded it in the Witcher 2.

Whether it's "well done" or not really depends on what you mean: are you saying that the animations are bad or stiff(lol) or are you saying it's not realistic how they are getting in these situations? The former is a valid argument, although it must be terribly hard(teeheehee) to get polygonal people to interact sexually in a believable way and I think they did the best they could. The latter is basically moot, a sexual situation between two people that know each other and are experienced with each other sexually can happen anytime. The entire world fucks in a variety of ways. Add in the fact that half of the entire fiction around Geralt of Rivia involves him getting into sexual situations the topic just becomes pointless.

The OP has stated a couple times they like the game, they were just simply expressing their opinion on a specific point.

I actually think they handled the nudity and sex scenes incredibly well. It's a mature story, it advertises itself as a mature story so what's the big deal? CDP certainly handled it better than BiowEAr. Now THAT was silly.

I don't see a problem with the nudity. The point about ending the first game with Shani and showing up in bed with Triss is well taken, but we don't know, from a RP perspective, what might have happened to cause this.

However, if you buy a game that has explicit warnings about sexual content, don't be surprised when you come across it. Don't buy a game like TW2 and look for an option to turn off nudity when that is a big part part of the story. Geralt likes to bed women. Frequently. He is either the male fantasy of being a super lover, or the female fantasy of finding a super lover...I have not decided which...lol.

So, if you are e a prude, have hangups over characters who express their sexuality, find sexuality something to be ashamed of, think gamers who appreciate sexual content are deviants, etc...blah...blah...blah - make an informed choice and steer clear of a game like TW2. As for me, I miss collecting the cards. :-)

I found it realistic and tasteful, it didn't show the bait and tackle, just a scene that showed you what it needed to set the relationship and mood between Geralt and Triss.

You don't like the nudity and adult content just don't play! Finally a developer had some nuts to put something as sweet as sex in a game and people constantly complain and moan and Q.Q besides the sex scenes are way too short! They should be more hardcore and shocking FFS
