Kleetus: They aren't going to update the installer until the patching for the game has finished.

There's no point doing it now, then having to do it again when another patch is released, they'll do it once and that's it.
They did say all new installs of Witcher 2 are automatically at version 2.0 so I assume it will be updated. I'll wait till then, really should wait until the weather cools off a bit so its easier on my computer.

Coop Arena would be great .

senbon: However the biggest insult (to me) is that the UI simply doesn't reduce the memory load
(e.g. you have to remember which books you have read etc.).
That's true - the UI doesn't provide the necessary information at the time you need it. You don't see the stats of your current equipment when you're buying new stuff, you don't get to know whether you've read a book or not when you browse through them in the inventory, it doesn't show you how much ingredients you have left while making potions, etc.

I was a bit disappointed not to have fixes for the game's remaining problems in the patch announcement. Still, there's some nice stuff ^^

cheers, i hope so.
Lets hope they give an option to use the proven Witcher 1 UI for combat, and well everything else. Only thing I like about the TW2 is the inventory and GFX. As it is now I dislike the UI so much I will not play it. If I wont play it then it is a waste of money for me.

No idea.
Not sure if it's been asked, but will there be a boxed retail version of this (similar to W1 EE)? I look forward to this at the end of September! Will finally complete my 2nd playthrough.

Also, any links for full list of fixes + additions?
it's not going to be released till the end of the month right? I don't think such a list exists yet.
