In 24 years I haven't gotten BoFIV out of my head: the best sprite art the PS1 ever saw, the dragon ball-like transformations and battles - well-paced and turn-based capped with the intricate combo system. The main quest and cast; Kahn, my beloved Ershin, and the tragedy of Fou-Lu are personal highlights. And the breadth of charming mini-games on offer (Fairy town sim and actually fun fishing stand out) complete the package. Music-wise watch the trailer and tell me that intro doesn't fill your heart with yearning, I'll replay BoFIV sometime in the near future one way or another, would love to buy a BoF collection to do so and show Capcom I care.

This DOES have a PC version! Capcom and SEGA are notorious for having one-off PC versions of their historic catalogue even if those versions aren't exactly great representations of the game or franchise. I would hope GOG reaches out to these publishers to look into preserving them for modern platforms!

Loved this game back in PSX era. I remember playing the whole game in japanese since it was the first version to arrive here in Brazil for some reason. When the US version came out, I played it all over again and this time understanding a little bit of the story. This is one of my all time beloved JRPGs and I would love to have this immortalized with GOG.

Truly one of the best JRPGs of its time. With a beautiful art direction, wonderful animations and a pastel color palette. Truly an inspiration for me who aspires to create pixel art as gorgeous as this game's. The combat system is also super interesting with its combo mechanic. And the story remains interesting the whole way through. Played this on my PSP not too long ago and I really hope this comes back on gog so more people can experience it, as the old PC version does not run on modern hardware...

You make friends beating other players up, or you meet your next rival while getting beat up. This game is a work of passion and love for fighting/wrestling/lucha. This game will have you feeling like a champ when you beat a player up or make you want to hit the training room when you take that brutal beating and get KNOCKED THE FUGG OUT!! How could you forget a game that you can chokeslam someone from a SKYSCRAPER!? OR that awesome final circle music that gives you that little extra courage to take on your next opponent. Fractured Space

Breathe a little life back into my precious. My Fractured Space. My Raven. No other game has gripped quite as tightly upon my orbs as this one. Fractured Space is a standout example in a nearly barren genre of gaming, and easily beats out those meager competitors in the places that actually matter to me. GAMEPLAY and SOUL This game has vision, it has an identity. Everything here is a visual treat. The hanger/main screen, the maps, the animations from jumps to weapon discharge, the ships themselves, are all beautifully designed. They feel right and scream unique. Everything has a sort of brand to it. The sound design is distinct and great too. You can know what you're facing by image or audio alone, each element is that notable, and there is no oversaturation of visual or audio garbage that you lose clarity within a match, something I've seen many other games fail at. That's good conveyance. A game that gives 6 degrees of movement for ships in space *gasp* it can't be. And yet it be. The gameplay is just plain enjoyable. Fighting other ships is actually fun, abilities feel good to use, your freedom of movement has weight to it, and position matters when fighting to win lanes. Good timing, pressure, and accuracy are rewarded in the dynamic skirmishes over the different sectors of the map. The robust movement system, abilities, presence of turret traverse and parallax, armor faces, and relationship of distance and projectile velocity all combine to make aiming your guns fun. Aiming your guns is fun in FS. The gamemode actually means something, too. Map control means levels of advantage, and winning Gamma is like winning Arrakis. The game ends. All that is to say, the gameplay loop itself is addictively compelling, and not many games can say that. You want a MOBA that doesn't make you hate yourself for playing it? This is it. I'm not explaining what Gamma is or what a Raven do. You should find out yourself and help bring back the king. Fractured Space deserves it.

Yakuza: Dead Souls

I genuinely love Yakuza: Dead Souls. It's a self-aware, goofy zombie spin-off featuring all your favorite characters from Yakuzas 1-4, plenty of good humor and hilarious substories (including one of my personal favorites in the series), and surprisingly decent gunplay. This game deserves to actually be played instead of treated as a black sheep by people who haven't actually experienced it, it's actually pretty fun/funny. Save this from the PS3, I beg of you!

Oblivion is where we got at the pinnacle of real video game you can enjoy for fun with a total freedom, its a masterpiece. Want to be evil go for it, want to be a savior go for it, no wrong way just differents possibilities. A remaster of this is a must have on gog.

Always been a fan of sports movies and this game is like a sports movie. Man, I want more of these! Like a game with the characters of Blue Mountain State or something. There are not too many story-based sports games in the world!

I enjoyed this game far more than I thought I would. It is like a stand-alone expansion to Doom 2016, expanding the lore and taking place at the same time, but you play a different protagonist. Given its VR-nature it was slightly more "Scary", evoking some Doom 3 vibes. Please preserve this gem DRM-FREE too! Now that we have Doom 2016, this should not be impossible. I'm sure Bethesda would be more protective of Doom Eternal than Doom VFR. Yes, most people don't care about VR, but GOG does have a few VR titles and I'd love to have this too. Yes, it's Bethesda's call, but also a matter of GOG actually asking for it.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Somehow they made a turn-based RPG with one of the most satisfying real-time parrying/riposting mechanics I've ever encountered. I'm adoring this on Game Pass (Xbox) and would love to buy a DRM-free copy on GOG. Please make it happen.

Doom Eternal

One of the best first person shooters of all time. The game is a technical marvel, the gameplay is refined to absolute perfection. This game deserves to be preserved along with all the other Doom games.

This game is amazing. Simply amazing. A true classic style JRPG but in a modern setup. Beautiful graphics, breathtaking music and absolutely tear jerking story. This should be experienced with non-DRM, with complete ownership.

The soundtrack alone made Wildstar stand out from the crowd. Still my favourite OST to this day, and as an FFXIV player I think that says a lot. Player housing was also second to none, and the space Western setting remains unique in the MMO market.

Magicka is a truly amazing coop game that I devoured years back: it had one of the most innovative magic systems at the time and definitely one of the craziest coop experiences. Not only the gameplay was great, but its story was fun and interactions and characters spot on. This, coupled with the fact that some combos were NOT BALANCED AT ALL, made the game truly unforgettable. If played with friends, the story, DLCs and even the PVP will bring lots of hours of fun - like they did for me at the time - if only the game had its crashes fixed.

Silent Hill: Homecoming

This is one of the Silent Hill games that needs it the most. SH2 and SH3 are fully playable without issues thanks to fan patches, but the pc port of Homecoming in its current state is completely unstable, having a fully stable version of this game would be awesome.

One of the most unique concepts for American games specifically getting to see our childhood hash it out in a friendly brawl. Free to play which is more than any of us gamers could ask for, and it shouldn’t be discontinued simply because of poor handling. A few tweaks in the right direction for everyone’s childhood.

I played through this game back when I had my physical video game collection(of mostly PS2 games). I remember really enjoying it! The story was very much up my alley, with time travel and alchemy magic, and I also really enjoy pure adventure games. I think this game is quite unique, and I haven't played anything quite like it since.

A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Silent HillSilent Hill is the first installment in the Silent Hill series of psychological survival horror video games. Unlike earlier survival horror games that focused on protagonists with combat training, the main character Harry Mason is an average man. The gameplay consists of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. The controller vibration is used to indicate Harry's heartbeat and will vibrate on low health. The player must regularly enter an inventory screen to check Harry's health, use items, and equip different weapons.

In a far-away world, two continents float, separated by a vast swamp-land. For eons, no contact existed between the two continents because ships couldn’t sail across the expanse. At last, when the historic first contact was made between the two powers, war erupted! After long and costly fighting between the Fou Empire in the west and an alliance of countries in the east, both sides exhausted all their strength and resources. With no other alternative, the two powers agreed to an armistice. One year later, Princess Elina vanished. She had been traveling in the east from town to town, exploring battlegrounds and visiting war veterans. Her trail vanished in a small town near the front line. Nobody knew her whereabouts! The Eastern Alliance wanted to avoid sending a large army to the front. Such a move would be a political blunder, breaking the armistice and stirring up hostilities. It became impossible to carry out a large-scale search for Elina. Time passed... with no sign of the princess. Elina’s sister, Princess Nina, finally makes up her mind. She leaves on a journey in search of her sister – by herself. Ryu Ryu meets Nina while he is lying unconscious on a street in a desert town in the eastern continent. Scias A mercenary soldier, Scias was hired by the eastern side during the war. Scias becomes the party’s watcher. He is very quiet and aloof from the world. Cray A young leader of the Woren tribe (cat people) in the eastern alliance, Cray joins Nina to search for Princess Elina, his childhood friend. He has a strong sense of responsibility and acts as the leader of the party. His high offensive and defensive abilities are very dependable. Ershin Ershin wears completely sealed armor to protect her from any kind of curse. Since she wears the armor all the time, no one knows her real face or background. She meets the party in a mysterious place polluted by a curse and decides to join them. Ursula Ursula is a middle-class leader of the Fou Empire. She came to the eastern continent in search of dragons, and meets up with Ryu and his companions. Ursula was brought up in the military, and knows very little about worldly concerns. She is excellent at attacking with both magic and weapons. Fou-Lu Fou-lu unified the western continent single-handedly with his paranormal powers. He became the first emperor of the Fou Empire several hundred years ago. Despite his youthful look, he has mystic dignity. It is said that he predicted his own resurrection as he passed away. Does high number of votes for a game mean that it will be released sooner?

A high number of votes shows strong interest, which influences both GOG and IP owners. However, we can’t guarantee that every highly-voted game will be released.

How does my vote help to preserve games?

All games on GOG are DRM-free, so you can download and back them up for future use. Additionally, we aim to include as many games as possible in the GOG Preservation Program, ensuring classic titles remain playable on modern systems.

What happens with Stories once the game is released on GOG?

We’re working on a solution to migrate Stories to GOG.COM game cards once the game is released: we won’t let them get lost.
