And don't forget to remind Bouchart that RIde to Hell is from 2011
Noctropolis seriously needs more votes! Ahhhhhhh!
updated the list again :)

The absolute star of this week is Genewars, which made a huge jump up in the list. It is followed by Jetpack, Castles: The Northern Campaign and Fury of the Furries, the latter two now managed to make it into the list!
So many great games here... I hope at least some of them will be released!

Bouchart: I.M. Meen 2 votes

A Wolfenstein 3D clone and educational game. Notable in that the people who did the cutscenes were the same people who did the cutscenes in the Zelda CD-i games.
you may want to replace the wishlist entry with this one with more votes.

PS to ZFR: I have reminded Bouchart about something after all!

Matt Tucker became famous as a master criminal, he was good at breaking and entering and others knew this too. Because of this, the police set up an elaborate trap and put Matt away to prison for several years. Now Matt's time has been served, and he returns penniless to a city that has changed while he was gone. Luckily he still has a couple of friends who can help him out, and as for the rest of it: burglary is like riding a bike, you never quite forget...

The Sting is a crime adventure/sim, played with an overhead view (though there is a first person view toggle). Starting out, Matt Tucker has been reduced to a small-time "hood" who must scout out locations that might be good to steal from. There are different shops such as the Hardware Store and the Pawn shop as well as taxis to take him between locations. Matt will meet different shady characters who can act as accomplices on his different heists... in exchange for a cut of course. Each of these persons will have different proficiencies at different tasks, as well as a different weight. Matt must also be sure to choose a vehicle that is fast enough and able to store enough to make the robbery worthwhile.

All this planning is done from Matt's apartment where actions and movements are carefully laid out, before going "live" to find out if the plan works or if everyone has gotten caught. Different locations can include patrolling guards and police, security systems, locked doors and cabinets and other obstacles. At the same time, Matt's different tools are useful in different situations as well as making different levels of noise. As Matt successfully completes a string of robberies, his reputation in the underworld goes up and skills improve, allowing him to take harder and harder jobs, all the way up to a masterpiece Sting! against the mysterious Ministry of Light which runs the city.

This week's star is ShadowCaster, which made an impressive entry into the list. Runners-up are Submarine Titans (a strong candidate for becoming the first game to leave the list by achieving 350 votes threshhold) and Genewars.

I had already voted for this one. Very good game...
PETE SAMPRAS TENNIS 97 (currently 24 votes)

I think this is one of the best tennis games ever made, mainly because how the physics have been handled. Everything feels just right and realistic. It is a Codemasters game, which was released as Sampras Extreme Tennis on Playstation. If playing an old sports game is not a problem, I would definitely recommend this one. What Ultimate Soccer Manager 98 is for Manager Simulations, Pete Sampras Tennis 97 is for tennis video games.

Tannath: The Fools Errand
http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/the_fools_errand

Classic puzzle game with a story inspired by Tarot, released in 1987. Only 34 votes. If I'm not mistaken, the guy who developed it let's you download the original DOS game and a couple of extras for free. I think it would be easy for GOG to come to an agreement with him and bundle the whole thing with DOSBox. I think it would be an excellent addition to the catalogue, as this one is the very definition of a good old game.

moonshineshadow: Asghan the Dragonslayer

Tannath: I still have the disk somewhere. I got it to run in XP (with crashes galore), but it just won't run on anything later.
^THIS one of those 34 votes for Fool's Errand was defiantly mine, it's freeware and freely available at the link on the wishlist though - I'd advise most to take a look, it's not quite like anything you've played before!

Incidentally Have you guys tried nGlide for Asghan the Dragonslayer? the nGlide site lists it as 'playable'
