Deus Ex: Human Revolution should be on GOG. The original version of the game is no longer available on Steam, only the DC is now available (the Directors Cut weren't very well recieved by fans). This is a good opportunity to add the original version of the game to GOG. Most People prefer the original to the DC anyway.

A lot of good years old Square Enix games should be here but they are very pro-DRM. All you can do is wishlist it and hope that high voting figures will convince someone over there to change their mind.

Isn't a DC version supposed to be "better" ? What makes the original a more suitable choice ?

I'd really like to see the original release of DXHR made available here too, although Square Enix seem to be very pro-DRM and uninterested in releasing anything more here :( I've tried emailing and writing to them but never received any responses. It has some nice features and improvements, but on the whole it's a downgrade. The DC is a lazy port of the Wii U port of one of the other console versions and many bugs that were present but later fixed in the original release returned with the Director's Cut. There are also lots of missing graphical effects such as reflections, excessive bloom effects, bad object LOD pop-in, many textures look very different and lower detail etc.

Square Enix promised further patches to fix the remaining issues but never delivered on it :/

the only improvements im aware of is to do with the boss fights and the intergration of one of the dlcs.

The DC reintegrated the Missing Link back in as one seamless plot (how it should have been released in the first place given the "DLC" was obviously a chapter in the base game artificially split off for the sake of appearing to have DLC). But as Adamhm said, the original was plagued with non-performance related stutter that was later patched out and the DC was then released based on an earlier build than the latest patch (which then reintroduced some previously fixed random stutter back in again that the devs promptly abandoned without ever patching). Some design decisions were also relative, eg, alternative to boss fights were welcome but other gameplay changes, eg, auto-charging 2 energy bars instead of 1 felt to many a lot like a cheat / dumbing down. They removed the gold tint but a lot of people quite liked that and found the DC looking too "sterile" (plus lower polygons for some objects looked uglier). DC was also much larger in size (almost 18GB disk space vs 10GB for 99% the same content for no apparent reason). Sadly there is no "perfect" version of DXHR.

I own the original version on Steam and yes it's much better. If you don't have the original but DO have the DC I certainly don't think you should worry about finding the original version somewhere and using it. Definitely a shame it's not available though.

I'll take the directors cut over the original any day. That awful boss battles are not worth the original copy.

There are plenty of places where you can still buy it (retail or key).... just not directly via Steam.
(I have the "boxed" version; files on disc, minimal manual, steam key)

They (GOG) should sell the Director's Cut and include the Original as a bonus.

Really? The boss fights having multiple ways to solve them was well worth the DC by itself.
EDIT: I guess I'm happy enough to have both versions.

OTOH the Director's Cut suffers from a lot more stuttering, looks worse, has annoying pop-in between higher/lower poly versions of various objects (and at very low distance so it's all the more noticeable), etc. Ideally if DXHR was to be released here both versions would be made available.
