Sunny Meadows is a wonderful Florida community, with luxury accommodations (golf course, tennis courts, rifle range, swimming pool, sauna, etc.); everything to make life nice. But here you are, locked in the Community Center by a bunch of retired Goombas just because some newer residents have been disturbing the peace.

So, the night passes uneventfully, but...
In the morning, 3 people are found dead.
gogtrial34987 seemed to have fallen and couldn't get up in the bathroom. If only he had a Med-alert watch!
adaliabooks had a heart attack and never woke up.
zeogold seems to have choked on his own pancakes. Odd though given he was up playing a puzzle game for hours after he ate. Delayed reaction?

One of the "Community Elders" comes in and sees this. "Well no one in the rest of the community died last night, so I think we have all the culprits in this room. Our apologies to those of you who might be innocent. But rather than just make all of you disappear, we'll let the more peaceful among you have a chance to weed out the bad apples. Every day, pick out who you suspect the most, and we'll have them sleepin' with da fishes. If the killings stop, we'll welcome the rest of you to the community."

Another Elder speaks up, "The younguns these days. We just want to relax in peace. Seems like we have to lock up all the new residents every 3 months or so. Can't they retire in peace?"

A third Elder says, "I know it's the rifle range. Told you that was a bad idea..."

The other two quickly speak in unison, "Shut up, shudding up".

After a small argument among themselves, they get back to the task at hand and ask you to call them when you make your decision. They then have the maintenance crew take out the bodies. "And all of you better remember...these 3 didn't die here. No one has ever died in the Sunny Meadows community!"

But apart from that, do I read that correctly: when the killing stops, we get let out. So, how about it, all you scummy and viggy and other killy people: just don't kill anyone tonight! Then we get let out and you can instead kill these elders who locked us up! So, everyone with a killing power just shout: "I agree to not kill anybody tonight" - and we're set.

Flavour aside, I'm not really sure how to read the twilight results. Three bodies might mean that we have THREE killing factions/persons. That's an awful lot and would make for a short game at up to 4 deaths per Day/Night cycle. But perhaps one of the flavour deaths was natural causes / accident? We'll see.

@Zeogold: do you regret now, that you didn't play? Look at what awesome power you would have gotten! ;-)

Do you think the setup was tweaked prior starting the game to match the people who officially decided to step out?

Well, it's obvious that killing a player in pre-game Twilight would be bad style. So yes, people who don't play are the standard N0 flavour kills and it is possible that RW decided to kill all people who stepped out in this way. Just for fun. So the three kills don't NEED to mean anything. But they may. So I'm a bit worried, but we can't do anything about it for now.

...unless, of course, all people with nighkills decide to follow my suggestion above! :-)

Huh. It isn't usually you who starts the game with a cannonball into the pool, Lift. That's typically more of a move that Yog or I would make.

So yeah. I saw the bodies were the people that wanted to go straight to the observer thread and dismissed them as plot devices. While RW would pull some Mod shenanigans, do you really think he broadcast the number of factions/people with kills? ...Nevermind. I'm not going to play "outguess the mod" here; he might have a lesson intended somewhere.
