supplementscene: Again can I ask for a right of reply before being hammered?
avatar
dedoporno: If I remember correctly ZFR said he will give notice when the final countdown starts which hasn't happened already so you probably have time. Don't waste it.
To be precise, ZFR said the Day would end at 4pm UTC.
avatar
ZFR: D1 will end 6 pm CEST (4 pm UCT)
Which is 3:20 h from now.

@Scene: that gives you the maximal time-frame in which it is still possible to make your twice announced reply.

Oh cool, I will just about be around for that, so

I was still under the impression it was any time after 14:00 BST.

As it turns out there was a mix up with timetables at work so I have been reading for the last 23 minutes. I'll hopefully be able to contribute more after I get home.

I don't want a sudden hammer before you've had time to claim.

Ok, tell me who do you think on your wagon is scum and why?

Just discovered I'm going to be in class until 5pm and since you've just taken scene back to L-4 by my count, I'll put my vote back on. Only removed it to prevent quickhammers like you did.

Damn it, I need to work.

JoeSapphire: hm I see you say you're not feeling it here. Maybe I'm wrong...

but then you're so passionate about his lynch you name him twice?? what am I supposed to make of this?
Hm, I see, throwing shades as soon as attention was brought to you.
I replied to that already and last time you seemed to take it in jest.
I put him there twice by mistake and I am doubting my read so... that's it.

avatar
SirPrimalform: Vitek seems oddly coy, but nothing concrete (to add to the Poppy stuff).
Coy in what way and how does that differ from my usual self?

avatar
JoeSapphire: scene has made multiple contradictions that a few people have pointed out - earlier you pointed out that he thought I was scum for voting him but then later said that he wasn't interested in voting me or something something (sorry no time to check). His reads seem off and he's a wagon with momentum on this day.
I did?

Also his reads were very off last time as well. How does that factor into your opinion?

avatar
HypersomniacLive: SirPrimalform's willingness to join supplementscene's wagon with no explanation, and without having expressed any suspicions all Day, is the one giving me more pause. What do you think?
I actually thought he was onto scene before but upon checking he had null read on him before and only mentioned him recently as possible vote. Then I don't find it out of character for SPF as town. As well as I shouldn't find him pushing of one minor thing no one else ca get behind as he did in last game but it could also be precisely the reason why he knew he will get away with it as mafia next time.

I love when I can oppose all my own arguments.

So I suppose I would probably be willing to vote him, but am not sure if I picked him over scene.

avatar
HypersomniacLive: Anything specific about Lifthrasil that makes you think he's not a good choice?
I am just not sure at all about him and I like to have stronger read before I want to lynch person.
As I said, I find a lot of his play similar to previous games but I also don't get the scummy feeling off him. Then I said the same early into the last game and he was scum so... *shrug*.
I find him here that he is putting more effort into figuring stuff out than last time but I also know he was pushing what is for me confirmed town (Poppy).
But I feel like I need more time to figure him out and honestly, I don't think time will help me to figure scene out.

Gah, I overall need more time to form reads. 2 days is just not enough for me. Last time the Days were too short for me and it took me several Days to properly figure stuff out and now this. Bleh.

Lifthrasil: Do you have some analysis of your own to contribute? Something beyond 'other people have pointed out that he contradicted himself'? Or are you contend to ride along on the train without putting in work of your own? That's the impression you're giving off right now. Combined with the 'why so eager' sentence from post 232 it looks a bit as if you don't care who is going to be lynched and if we lynch at all.

And can you elaborate on the creeps that Vitek is giving you? Something beyond his lingering vote on HSL?
It wasn't "other people think he's contradicting but I don't see it" but rather "as has been pointed out already he's contradicted himself".
I was trying to be funny with "why so eager?" - pointing out the closeness of the deadline - which is why I followed it up with "argh". Sorry for being unhelpfully hilarious.

Vitek's creepiness, it's the lingering vote whilst at the same time saying "we're not going to get a lynch through" and "I'm not happy with the three top wagons." This from the guy who initiated the last-minute push for Crisitgale in #53 - or was it Sprimal? As I remember it there were two major wagons and everybody thought it was one or the other, and vitek quite casually said "anybody fancy lynching so-and-so instead?" and they were suddenly at 6 votes. Sure - it ended in disaster, but still I'd expect vitek not to be so hopeless.

That and the "does he or doesn't he want to lynch lifthrasil?" which is a little muddy right now.

to keep the L-2 just in case. It became obvious that we have the numbers for that particular lynch so let's give the guy the breathing room he needs and see what he has to say. Now that Lift has enlightened me about the actual deadline I know I will be around to restore my vote in time, if needed, and I assume the same about trent, so that shouldn't be a problem in case there isn't a compelling reason not to go through with it.

Joe voted him in #306 which I believe put scene back at L-1. I may be counting wrong.

Joe was on Scene's wagon before that. So post #306 didn't change anything in respect to the vote-count. Which puts Scene at L-3 right now.

I didn't address it again.
