I decided to overwhelm you with examples of how capitalism screws us over in it's goals of "making money" AKA stealing value from everyone else. I can even share videos that break down how bad capitalism is at it's core.
But for now, how about a few concrete examples of capitalism gone bad. I'll add/edit to this list latter as my mood and time allows. This way readers don't get overwhelmed. Also note that while I got many links talking about capitalism itself, some of these links just talk about the issue. But it's not hard to see the profit/theft motive behind some of these things.
McDonalds wants their icecream machines to break down more so more money can be made off of repair calls since McDonalds is a franchise and the store owners have to pay for the techs.

So if you go to McDonalds wanting icecream and get told the machines are broken, you can thank capitalism.
Capitalism causes a bunch of problems due to a sudden record breaking cold snap in Texas.
A few points. While the cold might have been record breaking for Texas, other states deal with these sub freezing temps all the time, the equipment can be made to handle these these temps. Also while it might have been extra unusually cold for Texas. there is history to show that Texas has to deal with subfreezing temps every half century or so.
In other words. Equipment should have been "winterized"(made to work in subfreezing conditions), but it's not profitable to do so for such a rare and uncertain occurrence. Also they did get a warning, I think it might be in one of the YT videos I linked here as to how much warning, but it was at least days warning. That having days or more to prepare and it's still not nearly enough, that goes to show how unprepared for long term issues they were.
Thus capitalism causes a massive days long blackout in Texas and other places.

And some people got outrageous bills because "free market" baby!

Also the blackout caused refrigeration to die causing police to guard dumpsters.

This kind of thing is so old with capitalism too. Capitalism is very VERY unstable. Any disruption in supply and demand and you get price gauging and businesses intentionally destroying product to keep supply down so it doesn't damage their profits. It happened alot during the dusbowl of the 30's and 40's ALOT.
