I was about to bump out the other thread where I also confessed that I haven't watched any Star Wars of Indiana Jones movies (also never watched or read Lord of the Rings (just a bit of the first one) aswell, I've had forgotten to mention that on the thread), but I figured out that bumping it out just to derail it would't be that cool (not that making this thread is, but it is sunday and as usual, I'm incredibly bored :| ).

I still not talking about music or games, that is a nasty rabbit hole that I'm sure will get me killed (not that bad idea really, the boredom is doing it already).

And no, I'm not kidding.

So, Goglins, what thing of "cultural importance" you couldn't be arsed to experience or like for whatever reason? And that when you talk about it makes people go crazy over it? How do you feel when you tell people about it?

The Need for Speed movies or whatever they are called. The ones where that actor, paul somebody died for real and everybody on the internet was very upset. I don't even know what the movies or the actor's real names are.

Oh, yeah. I thimnk Vin Diesel was in some of the movies.

Boredom generally implies that you've got some spare time to kill, so you could actually use it and watch/play/listen some of those things you've missed in the past. At least if you have some minimum interest in them. Who knows, you might enjoy some of it.

...and if you're bored, consider taking one of the free courses on Coursera or one of the other learning sites. You'd be surprised at how much information you don't know until you know it.

The Fast and the Furious/ 2 Fast 2 Furious, or something like that? Only saw one, didn't care much for it. I think you didn't really miss out on much. :P

You are right, but ehhhhhhhhhh... I don't know, it is strange, I just don't feel compelled to do it. It is specifically with the movies and books, I can dive into games, or just random reading about them, but actually watching or reading the material not so much. Can't explain. Quick glance and I've seen some pretty interesting stuff. Thanks for the recommendation . :D
