neurasthenya: I had my expectations lowered so while the ending was a let down compared to the rest of the writing, it was serviceable.

phaolo: I liked BB too, but I would have preferred if it finished at S4.
Also, some extra-slow drama moments and some filler episodes were quite painful.
BB? S4? WTF!? Speak English! :P

I think they're referring to "Breaking Bad, Season 4". Yeah, a bit off topic.

phaolo:
The slow drama moments where what I've liked the best. Can't recall that many fillers to be honest, which was also one of the reasons I've liked the series.
Can't get into the longer series because of that, the fillers do my head in every time.

For me those moments were good, but way too long.
About the fillers, maybe S3 was the worst. Do you remember "Fly"* or that episode at the hospital? (also others)

*please, now don't tell me that it was great

I haven't watched any of the latest series. Or better, the only series i watched so far, are Friends (i've yet to see seasons 8-10 but i'm working on it), Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (Kevin Sorbo FTW), Xena: Warrior Princess (Lucy Lawless FTW). As you see, all of them are at least 15 years old.

It's kinda funny to see the expression of all those people that i meet, when i tell them "no really, i didn't watch Lost or Prison Break or Breaking Bad or Sherlock or Dexter or whatever else is/was trending lately". And to be honest, i don't think i'll get to watch them anyway, with the exception Boardwalk Empire (i like mr Buscemi as well as the time the series are taking place).

Rather read a book, most films/tv prog i never see or care too.
Have seen the first two star wars films, one bond film, one was enough.

haha I would tell you that "Fly" was great, for the exact reason of having long character interaction/exploraiton. Not on the writing dept but more in a, erm... directing sense? I think it was well directed. Although I can't deny that it is filler and builds towards nothing.

neurasthenya: So, Goglins, what thing of "cultural importance" you couldn't be arsed to experience or like for whatever reason? And that when you talk about it makes people go crazy over it? How do you feel when you tell people about it?
Game of Thrones.

Also, Pokemon Go.

It's hard to tell the difference with you.

tinyE: I get shit for this but I thought Timothy Dalton was a great Bond.
I agree. The Living Daylights is my favourite Bond movie. License To Kill was awful, but not because of Timothy Dalton, it was just a shitty script.
I don't have a smart-phone and have never owned any apple product.

I tried Game of Thrones, and it sucks

and Breaking Bad sucks

and Arrested Development sucks

and Harry Potter sucks

and the new BattleStar Gallactica sucks

and Orange is the New Black sucks

and I fucking can't stand Rufus Wainwright's Hallelujah cover

ummmm

and The Witcher and Skyrim and Fallout 4 suck

and ummm.....

you all love me now?

I've always loved you, always.

Breja: I haven't read Stephen Kings The Dark Tower- I tried but the very first book bored me quickly, and I gave up.
Yeah takes a while to get going, quite good until it goes to shit in what I believe was the fifth book.
