Don't get me wrong: The devs/publishers are definitely at fault here. And judging from your other posts they seem to have bit of a track record. But my feeling was (and still is) that you were rating the developers/publisher rather than the actual game. I get that: Sometimes you feel like certain people are not deserving of the money they ask for. I mean, hell: I'm no fan of Ubisoft, but I still enjoyed Rayman and from all I hear Rayman Origins is very fun. I would still play it and I would still legally purchase it - but only here (DRM-free, without their stupid Big Brother client attached) and only at 10% the current price - a price that might take another 4 years to reach. I still think Ubisoft wouldn't deserve a single cent of income because the way they acted in the past and keep acting in the present (actions speak louder than words) but at the end of the day it would be a compromise.
Similar with this game: Maybe the devs are just fumbling their way for one game to the next hoping to make enough money to continue their journey on their fumbling road on the way to Fumbletown, USA (I honestly can't tell, because I'm not very interested in any of their two games on GOG). But even if they are all games should be allowed to be rated as games, rather than just another bastard child of developer X. A review should consist of more than pointing out a single missing feature. Writing a single line review makes you look more angry than you actually are. ;)

If you feel like raising awareness for certain issues consider doing so within the scope of a more fleshed out description of the merits and flaws of a game. Only about 4% of the readers rated your review as helpful - and at the end of the day, you are writing reviews for said readers. If you want to point out particular issues, forums and GOGmixes seem to be the way to go. In the forums you can go into more detail and have actual conversations (like you already did). GOGmixes on the other hand have more staying power, enabling you to tag games you think require tagging. Even GOGmixes barely consisting of anything have their supporters and if I judge the GOG community right they just looove a bit of developer shaming.

Sorry that this got a bit longwinded and have a nice day.

danigr86: ...Just wait for the game to decrease his value.
Yes, that sounds like a good idea. Price will be lowered for sure. Only a matter of time to see this with 70-90% discount. Also gives the developers more time to fix gameplay and user interface issues. From the reviews it seems they only polished the graphics but nothing else yet.

So if I haven't forgotten by then, I might reconsider it in a year or so. But now it's nothing for me.

Bom Trabalho.

You might get more help with this by posting it in the Railway Empire forum.
