So far:

Shadowrun: Hong Kong Extended Edition Deluxe(wanted the OST but I'm still severely pissed it's not in FLAC)
Mirrors Edge
Deponia(it's suppose to be a fun point and click and I couldn't resist at $1)

Let me ask, is this the cheapest price "Dex" has been? I had played the demo and loved it. I would consider buying some Hyperdimension Neptunia DLC but you have to own the game to do that. -_- I have one of them but I'm balancing how much I'll buy.

Yes. You can always check yourself at isthereanydeal.com. And the current price is a steal, IMO, if you liked the demo.
Hello, hello.

Brand new to GOG I ran into it after looking tirelessly for one of my favorite racing games online to purchase but couldn't anywhere (NFS Underground, let's do this GOG!) and run on windows 10. What I did run into, however, was an incredible library of games that would be excellent for my laptop right in time for the summer sale! I had to think about this one carefully, as I didn't want recent games that I would ultimately just want the bigger real estate of my desktop monitor or ps4 to play - I wanted games that were a little slower paced, and easy to play while on the go (ex, long plane rides, having to wait for your car to get fixed, etc) or even some while on your bed while having to resort to your trackpad.

So if there's anyone else out there who's got a capable laptop (but not necessarily a gaming laptop) here's the games that I came up with and grabbed over the Summer Sale of 2017:

- Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
- Pharaoh + Cleopatra
- Red Baron
- Star Control I + II
- Star Wars: KOTOR
- Civilization IV: Complete Edition
- Sim City 3000: Unlimited
- Moto Racer
- Deus Ex GOTY Edition
- FTL: Advanced Edition

And so far so awesome! Currently fully invested into Baldur's Gate II which I've never played before. They sure don't make games like they used to.

Welcome to the GOG community! :)
Did you play the first Baldurs Gate?
This sale I picked up:

Quest for Glory series
Theme Hospital as amazingly, I've never gotten around to playing it
Populous 2 (again, amazingly, never played a Populous game)
Patrician 3

The kind of games I usually like are adventure/puzzle games, probably because the first proper computer game I played was Myst (although I still haven't managed to 'solve' Riven yet), simulation/strategy games such as RollerCoaster Tycoon, SimCity, The Settlers, Anno series etc. and platformers, probably due to the fact that the only console my Mum let me have when I was younger was a GameBoy Color, and most of the games she let me have were platformers.

But I've decided to try and broaden my gaming experiences, so also got:

Avernum: Escape From the Pit, after playing a bit of the demo
Heroes of Might and Magic 2, after watching a recent Pixelmusement video on it
Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood, since I love Conquests of the Longbow and therefore the setting, and I want to know if I would enjoy a Commandos type strategy game.
Fantasy General - Well it was free. which means I also have a few free games I've picked up over the years to go back and have a look at including Eschalon Book 1, Eador: Genesis, and I may give the three free Ultima games a go as well, although I tried Ultima 4 when i first joined GOG, and found it difficult to get into without being able to play with a mouse.

Let's see how this goes.

I picked up

-War for the overworld
-Devils dare
-Requiem avenging angel
-Clive barkers undying
-Steamworld heist
Added to my earlier purchase. Total for 2017 Summer Sale

Escape Goat $1.29
https://www.gog.com/game/escape_goat

Anomaly Defenders $0.99
https://www.gog.com/game/anomaly_defenders

Starflight 1+2 $1.49
https://www.gog.com/game/starflight_1_2

Gratuitous Space Battles 2 $2.49 (supposedly very crashy, but giving it a try)
https://www.gog.com/game/gratuitous_space_battles_2

Signal Ops $1.49
https://www.gog.com/game/signal_ops

Almost bought the Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, but held off for now. Already played Escape Goat and liked it alot.
I picked up "only" 3 games:

-Soma
-Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe
-Human Fall Flat
-Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight Soundtrack DLC
Was saying I was considering whether to pick up just one game, which would have been Patrician 3 in that case, or none at all, but eventually ended up picking up that as well as both Disciples games. So that's 3 games for $3.87, plus Rebel Galaxy free for it, which I actually had wishlisted but would have never in any way considered purchasing myself (or trading for) due to regional pricing with prices above base. So there was that at least.
I didn't want to buy so many games that they'd be gathering dust with the rest of my backlog, so I only picked up 6 titles:

- Ascendant
- A Story About My Uncle
- The Way
- Renowned Explorers: International Society
- Card City Nights
- Oxenfree
... Fantasy General

:D
I really shouldn't read these threads, as I keep adding interesting stuff I'd never heard of before to my wishlist.

That said, I've bought:

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
else Heart.Break()
Legends of Eisenwald
The Original Strife: Veteran Edition
Ultima VII

...while still eyeing another half dozen RPG's for which I'll never find the time to play.
i only bought Downfall: Redux and i got the original one as a bonus
At the very beginning of the sale I bought these. Since there will be probably no big sale for the next few months and prices are really good (also nice currency rate for USD/PLN and no bundles necessary to get full discount), I've also decided to take:
* Geneforge Saga - unique crpgs for really decent price
* Port Royale 1+2 - on my wishlist, taken because of price
* Zafehouse: Diaries - interesting theme and unique gameplay, low risk purchase due to ridiculous price
* Disciples 2 - really liked first one and always want to try the sequel
* Flatout - I loved Destruction Derby as a kid and I hope I'll receive something similar here
System Shock Enhanced Edition (I have played System Shock 2 but not 1)
Dex (I been waiting for it to go cheap)
Hard Reset Redux (Because I love Shadow Warrior 2)
Obduction (Because I wanted something slightly like Talos Principle)
Unreal Gold (I had the CD until a few year ago)
Mirror's Edge (I have this on steam but I wanted the DRM free version).
