That's no wonder, thanks for sharing the personal anecdote. :)

My wife gratefully let me buy The Witcher 3 Expansion Pass.

After 2 years, my answers (already answered questions before the purchase, but.... ) and my discount are both here (from my own thread about the pre-purchase of both TW3 and the Expansions, here https://www.gog.com/forum/general/a_couple_witcher_3_dlc_questions ).
Thank you CDPR, or gog, whichever one gave the good discount!

Just wanted to say that this is one of the better gog sales I have seen for a few years now, so there is hope.
:)

Add inside the Star Wars RPGs and Sin Gold, the shooter. I was recommended them from a forum pal i trust, so i got them. Done and done! Now, only 1 game in wishlist and under TBA category (to be announced)!
Open question to those who bought perhaps one or two games. And I noticed some bought a single game or two that were less than $5.

Did you buy so few because y'all have so many games already (most of the catalogue) or did you just find the games on sale not the ones you wanted?

1,500 games is about 75% of GOG's catalogue.

My GOG library is between 200 and 300 games so I always find a bunch of stuff in the sales to pick up.

Right now, I am just deciding on what to buy/

I believe, that answer is simple. How many games from you 200+ library did you finished so far?

If your answer is less then 200+, then you do not have reason to buy many new games and one or two are enough.

Recently I bought Ultima Underworld and I will play it some months, so right now did not need and sale. On the other hand in my wishlist was Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption so I bought it, since price is too great!
I added

Avernum Escape from the Pit remake
Space Rangers Quest
Postal Classic
Avadon 3

This means I now have all of the Avernum, Avadon and Space Rangers games GOG has

I've also bought Avernum - both the full classic cycle and Avernum: Escape from the Pit remake. Am I right that I can play remake and continue the journey with classic editions? Or remakes are changed and no longer "compatible" with classic (regarding storyline)?
Only a handful of games from the sale, I got my goodies beforehand with Dragons Dogma and the Bethesda games.

It is good for picking up a few gift codes for my next giveaway though.

Have over 1000 games on steam, have over 100 here on Gog. Probably 85-90% unplayed. Apparently I just like options ;-)

This is a great sale on GOG, I just have so many already.

Kevin582: New to Gog, first post I believe, Hello Everyone.

UnrealDelusion: First of all welcome to the GOG community.

Games I bought:

- Runaway: A Road Adventure
- Runaway 2: The Dream Of The Turtle
- Runaway 3: A Twist Of Fate
- Post Mortem
- Still Life
- Still Life 2
- Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
- Mini Metro
- Kona
- Shock Troopers
- Laura Bow: The Dagger Of Amon Ra
- Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magic Obscura
- Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption
- Rebel Galaxy (free gift from GOG)
Playing Runaway 2 right now, chapter 2 has a game breaking bug if you do things in the wrong order so save regularly and if you want the spoiler of what not to do let me know

I have everything from the old catalogue that I was strongly interested in, so my wishlist mostly consists of new and expensive titles that haven't received attractive discounts yet. Apart from that, I already have more than enough games, and many good ones that I didn't find time to play yet, so there's few incentive to buy mediocre games just because they're cheap and I don't own them yet (also considering that buying many cheap games quickly becomes expensive, too, especially if chances are you'll never find the time to play them anyway ;) ).
